Nolvadex effects

Hey Im starting Nolva as post cycle therapy (pct) tomorow and am a bit worried since its new to me, can I expect any side affects or anything? thanks.

don't think you will see any side effects. Are you using clomid or anything else for your pct?

I think you'll be fine. add some clomid or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) on that and then you can call it a post cycle therapy (pct). nolva alone is not a verry good pct plan

Very low sides with nolva...

Nolva is lower on the emotional sides than clomid and torem IME and IMO (haven't ever used clomid), but it also put a hurting on my libido. As far as sides, I got some occasional hot flashes from the nolva. I got distorted vision once from torem, but that's about it. Not to bad in other words, but nolva alone for PCT may give you some libido recovery issues-may want to add some divanil or something unless 4 weeks sans sex is ok with you (srs).

You can always go to www.rxlist.com and look up nolvadex/tamoxifen (and any other RX ancillary) and see what the most common sides are. Even though primarily for post-menopausal women, the more common sides tend to be hot flashes and visual distortion if memory serves me right, which lines up pretty well with what BB'ers may or may not experience.

Well I used HGC during my cycle and Ive been told not to use clomid and nolva at the same time what do you guys think?

I agree as long as someone doesn't react negatively to one of them.

I'd take one or the other first to see if you react in any negative way.

Then later try the other...

Then once you establish you dont react negatively to either run both at the same time.

Really? then how much clomid would you take if you already take nolva? and should I start it right away or a few weeks after i start the nolva.

I mean is the dosage still gonna be 50mg everyday if Im using nolva at the same time, and do i need to start it (the clomid) right away o should i wait 5 weeks after my last injection?

I thought the whole point of taking nolva was to jump start your natural test production (endo)?

I too got low libido on nolva and having a sex crazed pregnant woman made that time no fun but back on cycle and having a 19yr olds sex drive is awesome. Good thing I am on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forever now yeehaw

So if you're shut down and supressed during your cycle, and you're coming off, going into post cycle therapy (pct), why the hell do people take nolvadex then, if it prevents you from bringing back your natural test and libido?

Yes nolva does jump start your natural testosterone production by stimulating LH production.

Nolva OR Clomid alone during PCT could do this.If he did not run an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) along with the Nolva during PCT high levels of estrogen compared to the reduced level of Testosterone couldve caused the ED/sexual issues.

Taking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) would help reduce estrogen since Nolva does nothing to reduce total estrogen but can actually raise total estro levels.

So are u saying I should take like aromasin at the same time or maybe just add some clomid?
