Normal Testosterone Range?

Hey guys, I've been feeling more tired as of late so I though't I'd go and get my test levels checked just to make sure that wasn't the cause of my tiredness. Well, I got my results back the other day and my test level is at 275..

According to the test range my doctor's going by (240-827) my test level is normal but I've been looking around the internet for normal test ranges and most web websites I've come across say anything below 300 is considered low testosterone. So I was hoping others here could tell me whether my doctors right or if my test level really is low.

Here's my stats: 26, 5'5, 153 Ibs, never cycled before..

275 is low bud and at that level you will feel tired. You really need to be around 550-600. Either Test C or Test E at 250mg every 7 days should up your levels nicely. Also to keep your Estrogen in check so take 0.5mg Arimidex every 3 days......This is my own personal view regarding your age, height and weight and of course your current T levels.

im almost at the middle of normal, like 480 or so ... my estro is up at 29 or 30... i feel like shit compared to when i was up at 802 naturally. but 200's is low... i would talk to a dr about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if i were that low

P.s. you are a candidate for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in my opinion. If your current doc doesn't consider starting you or referring you to an endocrinologist I would look for a new doc.

Hmm, what units are you guys using?
I just did a blood test and the reference range for under 35 year olds for Total Testosterone was 8.3-30.2 nmol/L.
Now, if my number is closer to the 8.3 number than even the halfway point, and I'm only in my early twenties with otherwise a healthy record, is this indicative of low T?

Edit: Looks like you guys are using ng/dl; a typical conversion factor is .034. So, shit... I'm close to 400 then and I'm this young.... fffff

8.3 is 236 bud......Been doing this for years! 236 or 8.3 is very low. You need to be around 18-22. So you do have low T I am sorry to say.....But it can be cured!

The issue is now proving it to my doctor... Well, I have complained of lethargy, night sweats, hot flashes, in the past, before even looking this up... might be worth a try -.-

Id agree he need testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but maybe 100 mg p/w to start before a retest, at that height and weight using 250 mg p/w might turn his blood to pudding after a year

Definitely low bro. I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 385 and feeling better everyday

Whoa! You started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 385? I thought that would've been considered normal but I guess not?

Anyways, thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm going to go back to my doctor this week and see if he could refer me to an endocrinologist. There's no way he could say that my test level is normal.. Not the way I've been feeling..

Hate to post this in this thread, but I myself have began to suspect that I have low T-levels. I'm not sure if I'm over training or what, but I do get night sweats quite often, I find myself lethargic almost depressed, I have about 0 libido and I'm just generally always tired. I have seen significant strength gains in the past few months, so I never thought it was test. Should I be concerned? I'd see a doctor about it right away, but I currently don't have health insurance. Oh and I've never cycled, and I'm 20 years old.

I dont know how the doctors in the US handle low test but the doctors in the Netherlands never give you testosterone prescription when your test levels are low. Im 20 years old and I have no energy at all, depressed and the gains are going slower now. Tested my test and it came 14.2 mnol range is 10-35. And he told me im fine, so you need to go to a couple of doctors or you need to inject yourself on your own. (illigal way)
