Not sure what to do... TRT?

I'm 25 years old. I've done two pro hormone cycles in my life. One was right before the PH ban and it went well. Did a full pct and recovered fine I thought. But the first one was at age 18 when I was in the military. I was uneducated and took "tren xtreme". I had no idea what a pct even was. But that was when my sex drive said good bye.

I just got.blood work done through privatemd and my test came back at 337. I workout 5 days a week. Eat extremely healthy. Always sleep well. I don't smoke or do drugs so I know it has to be from that bullshit PH the guy at max muscle swore was safe and fine to take.

But anyways.. I'm extremely depressed seeing my T so low. I never thought at 25 I may have to be on TRT. Idk how to post a pic so I'll just write it all out for you guys so you can let me know what to do.

Test - 337
Estradoil - 18.7
LH - 10.1 (a little high)
FSH - 7.1

Also months after taking epi 2a3a and my pct of clomid I started getting sore nips and then a lump. So I have been on ralox and prami for a few weeks fighting it. Soreness is down and luml is smaller. Hopefully it'll be gone soon. Seeing as my estradoil is normal I'm guessing its prolactin caused gyno so can I drop the ralox? Anyways can you guys please enlighten me and let me know what I should do.

Welcome to the forums! Did you do a preliminary blood test before you started your first cycle?

Prami won't do anything for gyno. Keep taking ralox for gyno. Not sure where you got your info from. Read thru the ology faq's thread. There's a link on gyno.

I read multiple threads about gyno. Either its estrogen related gyno or prolactin related. I'm not sure where you got your info.

And no I did no . At 18 I had no idea what I was doing and I'm paying the price for it right now. I wish I had pre bloods done to compare the current test too.

What were your prolactin levels at?

What time of the day did you get your blood drawn for these labs?

Your LH and FSH are pointing towards Primary Hypogonadism.

If your gyno occurred during your last cycle and you are not on cycle now, Raloxifene would be the best course of treatment. It will help shrink the gyno by blocking estrogen from attaching to the receptors in your breast tissue.

Read the FAQs link below in my signature for more info.

Blood was dramn at 7:30. I did fast and had a great nights sleep. And if they are pointing towards hypoganadism what exactly does that mean?

Hypogonadism means Low T.

Give this a read for more info on the subject.

That's a good thread on TRT, Megatron. It sucks to think I'll have to inject for the rest of my life due to ignorance.

Its not so bad. You also get to have amazing T levels when all the other old men start to suck at life.

You can look at it as having to inject for life, or as being hormone optimized for life.

I guess that's another way to look at it. But I'm not sure where to even start man. My healthcare is JUNK and isn't gonna cover TRT. Sure I can self administer and do bloods on my own ever few months.

I tried a restart with clomid for a couple months and that didn't help so I just don't know where to even start.

TRT is cheap through a primary care physician. Estimate without insurance:

$200-$300 a year for 1-2 office visits per year
$45 every 10 weeks for testosterone
$30 a year for syringes and needles
$20 a year for Arimidex if needed.
$100-$200 a year for blood work

You won't need hCG since you appear to be Primary.

Getting started can result in a little more cost up front with a few more office visits but once you are u der way it is fairly inexpensive. Probably under $500 per year. Don't let the cost deter you.

If I went the route of TRT is it possible to get test cyp and an AI from an online sourse to self administer and get blood work every couple months with privatemd? Do people do this? After reading and reading it seems like self administering TRT is as simple as following a starting protocol of let's say 160mg test a week split into two shots and .5g arimidex every other day and tweak as you go along with blood work every so often. Am I right?

Like you outlined it wouldnt be too exspensive but if I could cut out the doctor visits that easily I would rather do that. After all the reading it doesn't seem too complicated.

@Megatron, can you please help me make sense of all this...

I have been speaking to my mom about all this and he personal trainer has her convinced that all I need is tribulus and DAA based supplements to fix my low T. How the hell do I explain to someone what is going on with my hormones?

That is stupid. Have the trainer explain how the HPTA works and what is "broken" when one has Primary Hypogonadism. It should quickly become apparent that this person is an idiot. By the way, let me guess -- he has some supplements to sell you?

Sure, some guys do this. But I don't recommend it. I think having a prescription for your medications is important when on TRT. Ever want to get on a plane and take your meds with you?

Are you fully educated on how to manage a TRT protocol, read your blood work and manage any issues that arise? Are you sure you want to rely on an illegal source for a medication you need to live when you can buy a 10ml vial for $45 from a pharmacy?

Hah no supplements for sale surprisingly. But my mom is convinced he knows everything because he has a degree in health and fitness!!

And you're right Megatron. Legally would be the best idea. And no I don't know how to read my blood work and.make sense of it, yet. Its just I don't have the most spare funds to go see a doctor and what not. Sure there are reliable sources for test but I would much rather do it the right way.

There is a place here in town that does TRT and stuff and I emailed them and will be expecting a call back tomorrow. Hopefully they don't throw out some outrageous prices or even tell me I'm in the normal range for my age.

PCP is usually the cheapest option. Do you have a regular doctor you see or one someone in your family sees and likes? Ideally a doc that listens.

What is PCP? And unfortunately not. I live in Illinois and have never actually sat down with a doc other then when k dislocated my shoulder. Rest of my family is is California.

Primary Care Physician.

Ask your friends who they see and what they like about him/her.
