I know my boyfriend uses steroids, He has for probaly alittle over a year. My question is, do steroids make men sterile? He tells me it lowers his sperm count enough to the point where if we have unprotected sex I should be ok (I am not on the pill) and not get pregnant. I was just wondering, I know this is not safe to do! But condoms just don't feel the same!!

Thats a tough call. I dont think you will find anyone here confidant enough to recommend unprotected sex just because your boyfriend is using steroids.

If i am correct, needsize, who is a Moderator here got his wife pregnant and he was using steroids at the time.

Yes, its possible that you wont get pregnant but there is always a chance. You just never really know.

oh and another thing if you dont mind me asking...why arent you on the pill? If your having sex, and pregnancy is not your goal.. then you should be on!

Atherjen: Everything that I was thinking Biggie confirmed...I am definetely going on the pill, I've only had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 2 times, and that was a few months ago, so I know I'm not pregnant...he uses steroids as an excuse a lot so he doesn't have to wear a condom...

My ex experienced some weight gain, and her borderline C D chest, turned into DD's, impressive on someone 5'3. It was such a beautiful thing i have a tear welling up, the pill is a great thing on so many levels.

I'd been on a huge cycle for 4 months when I got my wife pregnant, it was planned but the gear sure didnt get in the way. Your boyfriend is just looking for excuses to not wear a rubber

If men don't use Clomid or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), post cycle, their sperm count can drop dramatically. For some men, if they don't use those, it can take 1-3 years for their counts to go back to normal. That is, granted theydon't take anything else. His count is probably higher while on, then drops after.

i have been using Yasmin birth control for 3 years and never gained any weight from it at all. it actually has a dieretic component which is supposed to reduces any chances of weght gain. hope that helps!

Yeah but 1 tsp of semen contains millions of sperms and as we all know it's a mad dash to the egg and only 1 gets in. So you dump only 500,000 buggers into your lady tomorrow your odds are still very high that there's a strong swimmer in the group that will reach the egg and thus create a new life. Only a NO sperm count can assure that you won't get pregnat.
