old man newbie (54) is finally ON...progress update

Just finishing my third week of 300mg test e only. I've been busting ass for a while to get ready for this. I was in terrible shape for a long long time. 5'-9" 174 lbs at cycle start. Lifts really went thru the roof this week. Kept adding weight adding weight adding eight. I had to completely redo my workout spreadsheet. Libido is strong as well, which probably explains the agression with the weights. So far gained 4 pounds. Waist hasnt changed. No bloat. But the real gains can't be seen from the pics. I can feel myself growing like a weed. I'm looking forward to the last 10-12 lbs of fat leaving my midsection. btw zero sides so far...except gf has a noticeable limp....:cool:

And thanks everyone the huge volumes of information...truly life changing.

Congrats on doing work. . Keep it up!
Also, dont try to max out. . Test makes u strong, but your connective tissue cant keep up. So your injury prone. . You tear a bicep/rotator its gonna put u back over a year/and it'll never be the same

Add Letrozole or another Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and the fat will come off fast and you will avoid any sides. Keep up the good work. At your age I hope you looking into testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) it's the right choice for long term health. It's also very affordable.

sorry bro forgot to crop the pic. Shit I was late for golf and ran out without looking. Fixed it.

Yeah I've been careful since I began free weights 5 months ago. Two years of P90X prior to that, so overall muscles, joints, etc feel great. I think I have maybe been too careful. After the extra weights I've added recently I'm not gonna push it any more, and will stick to my original weight progression plan.
