older newbie

Just registered on here and have to say I have found a ton of useful info. I'm 31 and have been working out for about 8 years. Most of my working out has been 1/2 ass and just for strength maintenance and so I don't get too skinny or fat.

I'm 6'1 about 198lbs
I just started the 5x5 routine today for chest and tris (bad combo I know). I am looking for a new routine that is actually going to help get some strength & size if it is still possible this late in the game. We'll see with 5x5
