The thing I don't like about going with a lot #s as a determining factor as whether gear is good or fake, is a good counterfiter can easily copy an actual real lot #. You really have to look at other aspects to determine it's authenticity.

i.e; you could have two amps with the same lot #, and one is real while the other could be fake.
