I don't need anything explained to me. The problem I see with the statement is its justification of actions because another group has equal or worse actions. Neither one is right. I was simply making the point that as a general consensus catholics don't support these actions and I don't know of anyone in their religion that thinks they will get benefits from it after death.
Personally, I don't have a problem if a person is muslim or christian. Having said that, I don't have many encounters with anyone who isn't christian. I am from the south and we don't have to deal with the BS that others do.

With all due respect you have no clue what I've seen as I don't know what you've seen. I've done my share of telling a guy it will be ok, when I knew it wouldn't, as he lay bleeding from the head. Lets talk about what we both do know. Their are Muslims in all walks of life be it Police Officers, Military, etc etc., and they are sickened by these types of acts. To condemn them to death because of the actions of other idiots is beyond wrong.
As I respect you and consider you a friend as it relates to these forums, I'm chalking your talk up to emotions running crazy. I feel for the Muslim who reads this talk. The problem isn't those statements. The problem is the over generalization going on in this thread. I'm not a big history buff but I do know Christians have commented mass murder in the name of God way back when.....crusades anyone? A ton of African Amercians rain violence on each other as well as others on a daily basis that result in far more deaths than any terrorist attack (combined). I being African American have faced the looks, the racism, the hatred, at me being black, due to someone condemning an entire people over what others have done. You can't sentence all for the actions of a few, and yes it is a few when compared to those who aren't doing anything.

There are plenty of people not speaking out against the violence. In reference to my above post about African Americans, I don't go out and demand justice when all of my people are out murdering. I guess those who don't live with death on a daily basis think differently. Ask any child, brother, mother, father, how they feel about that stray bullet that killed their love ones, or ask any victim of one of the recent home invasions out here (Southeast Texas) how they feel about the parents being shot in the head, as they hid under the bed. Violence and hatred is very real, and it does sadden me, which is a large reason of why I chose my profession, but that narrow minded thinking doesn't help fix anything.
Where is the outcry on these forums? We care more when it's a terrorist as oppose to when it's our own people. The problem needs to be fixed, and that problem is hatred.

Kaname I grew up in the states when my parents divorced. I just recently went baxk to Puerto Rico. When I lived in Chicago I lived on 79th and Peoria. I was getting my ass beat every single day by blacksand you know why. Because of the color if my skin. I am considered in yhe staes a "white" hispanic but that was my only crime in the south side if chicago. Do I hold every black person respo sible for the racsim that was imposed on me. And you know whats funny my grandmother on my dads side is black my dad is mixed my mom us gree. My brother looks like my dad dark skinned dark eyes am white with light eyes same mom and dad so dont come talk to me about a blanket statememt.
I used to get beat for the sins that none if my forefathers commited. Better yet my granmothers ancestors where slaves in Puerto Rico so spare me the fucking wine fest.

None of that changes the nature of a blanket statement.
The fact of the matter is we have Muslims who serve our country both over seas and at home. They risk their lives just as much as any other, and feel the same disgust that you do about these acts. They aren't required to go into the street and condemn these acts as you requested. Out side of this thread, how would I have known that you Old&Stacked felt about these attacks? Yet I wouldn't go screaming that you are wrong and are just as guilty since you didn't speak out against it. For that matter how do you know I'm not Muslim or anyone else in this thread who has already spoken out against the attacks? What do they have to do, get on the news so that you know they are against the attacks? Your statements are out of line man.
The point stays the same, there are those from all walks of life (to include Muslims) that have done more for this Country that I or you, and they easily earned the right not to be lumped in with the extreme idiots who feel it's their right to declare war on those who don't share their believes.

Yes they are only internet relationships but they are what they are none the less. I will follow the thread from a distance but I won't be commenting anymore.
