over compensating from old injury

The title pretty much says it all.
I broke my humerus bone(bone connects elbow joint to shoulder joint) of my left arm. This was years ago,I dont notice to much strength difference betweem left and right its more of development issue.I can really notice a difference in development in heads of delt. Particularity front delt.I tried Isolation/concentration exercises but its stubborn and dosent seem to make the same gains in definition as my right shoulder.

So my question is whats the best technique to correct this?

Drew, we've got some of the same shit going on. As if the back surgery i had a few years ago hasn't limited my leg training enough, i've also got shouler issues. On my rt shoulder, i've got a severed labrum, torn infraspinatus, and 8 calcium deposits that are burried in the head of my humorous. Doc, looked at my mri's and said it defiitely needs to be reconstructed, but i told him he can eat my ass....there was no way i am going backward toward my fatboy days ever again!!what i try to do to compensate for it and maintain symetry, is to do any shoulder work, seated chest or bicep work always in the mirror. I focus on nothing but making sure that both delts are balanced from start to finish on each rep, no matter what im doing. If i dont keep steady focus on this, inevitably, my rt delt will always drop lower than my left and that will leave you with an unbalanced look after a while.

Thanks for the tip.Make cents.I do try to concentrate on my form especially my left delt,I try the mind to muscle and stay focused. But its easy to break consentration with other things going on(sets, reps, that sweet ass on the elliptical)I have to remember that. Thanks again.BTW chip, you had a tough fu*king paper route, huh?LOL

15.Its fully healed now.

more than likely you broke your growth plate because your injury occurred when you were so young... =/ it sucks, but there is no way to accomodate for the lack of symmetry short of what chip is talking about. you need to 'over-compensate' on the lacking side.
