pain in quad tendon 2 days post inject

I used a 1.5" X 25g needle to inject cypionate in the lower outer quadrant of my right quad 2 days ago. The injection went smooth and there was almost no pain at all until about 24 hours post injection. I did inject a little bit lower than I should have i believe, about 4-5 inches above the knee. The injection site intself is not very sore but the tendon above my knee cap is slightly sore when adequate pressure is applied. Is everything going to be alright here? Did I inject to low/deep and hit the tendon somehow?

4 to 5 inches above knee is way too low. Hold your hand like the hang loose sign. Measure down from your hip bone from your thumb to your pinky (about 7inches) , this is about where you should inject. Make sure you hit the outer portion. Right in between top and side. I have done all my cycles in the quads. There are more nerves on top of the quad. I also never go deeper than an inch, but I have very low fat. Give it a few days to calm down and deep massage the area that is sore.

you'll be fine. no fever or knots them no worry. your right you prob did inject too low. how much did you inject. and a 1" needle will suffice for your quad. I had the same pain when i first started and it was gone in a week. Heat and massage the area and you'll be good.

Oh and by the way, just to prove how many nerves run down the top of your quad. I did a subcutaneous injection of Imitrex for a migraine about 3 months ago. I wasn't in a good frame of mind and I just jammed the thing right on very top of my quad. I hit a nerve and now I have lost about 50% of the feeling on the surface skin of my quad from the injection point to my knee. Pretty crazy. The feeling is coming back slowly. But it's hard to believe this was caused my an Insulin sized needle. The injection hurt like hell. Stay to the outer side portion of the quad, case in point. LOL

Thank you all for the replies. Very comforting to read. I only injected a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose of 1/2 ml of 200mg/ml test cypionate. The soreness is beginning to dissipate and there are no bruises, cysts, localized heat or fever present. Thank God! I was worried there for a little while. Next time will definitely be injecting 7 inches down from hip
