As long as you know your allergies..I would find anything I could....problem is certain antibiotics are for certain infections....you really just need to go to the doctor...it will NOT cost 8000 dollars to treat an infection!!! They have to take you and you can make minimal monthly payments to pay it back if you need to! (Well at least in the US, not sure where you live....)

It will more than likely be a couple hundred dollars for emergency visit and meds..if that!!

You can ask a doc about KEFLEX and/or AUGMENTIN. Take a photo of your abscess, I'd like to take a look at it.

X2...and the bicep? it may just be virgin muscle PIP?...it doesn't even look red?...I def had different image in my mind....still your description in OP sounds like infection....like I said just go to doctor bro..it shouldnt be that much $ and it def shouldnt be getting worse 4-5 days later

Augmentin isn't right fit this kind of infection. It's most likely s.epidermidis, or s aureus. Look for a floxacin. Like ciprofloxacin
