Painful swelling in right quad and fever

Thanks guys I definitely will. I'll let ya know by mid week whats going on. The pain isnt as bad right now, but ive also been pounding ibuprofen/advil. I sterilized everything so not sure how this could have happened but hopefully this will clear up with the amoxicllin. Thanks again

Hey guys I've noticed the site is looking more and more of a pink/redish color. The pain is not bad. I took a picture of it. What do you guys think I should do, Is this bad enough?

My initial reaction was holy shit, but then people have different skin types and BF so that could make things look worse, its looks pretty bad here IMO. However mine was never red just I was unable to walk properly for about 4 days lasted a week in a half over all, it was only those 4 days which were complete hell when it came to walking, also no training was done. As I said I will never inject prop in quads ageing.

If I had that I would go and have it checked out, say that you did a B12 shot, and keep taking the amoxicllin. And if they prescribe a different one than take that.

Not trying to be an ass but do you work your legs regularly ? I'm thinking you didn't come in at the right angle and therefore your gear didn't make it all the way into your muscle. The crystals in your test can seperate from the oil and cause serious inflammation. Also the oil could get into your knee and cause pain in your joints. You need to be careful because a bad injection into your quads could cause an abcess to form.

I'll admit I lack on legs, but since I have been on this I've been going twice a week plus a decent amount of cardio. I try to avoid bulky legs, more for endurance...... I'm starting to think I didn't go far enough into the muscle which has caused all this to happen. It is feeling a little better tonight compared to the past few, I've just noticed more redness recently.

And how will I know what an abcess looks like? I have some smaller lumps underneath my skin but they don't hurt. I figured it was just some swelling an scar tissue build up since my quads are fresh to these pins

No worries bro, keep hitting the gym and that will change soon. Anyways, there's no sure way of telling whether an abcess has formed but here's some tips. Does the red area feel "squishy" ? And when you push down hard on the area does it take longer to raise back up compared to your other quad ? The lumps you describe are a bit concerning but I can't tell you for sure... My first time pinning quads it hurt like holy hell for a few days (to the point where I considered going to the E.R.) but I never experienced any "bumps" or redness. An abcess can double in size within 24-48 hrs. Are these lumps getting any bigger or smaller ? Also, scar tissue is a phrase thrown around too much around here, I highly doubt you have any to show after only 4 pins, after every pin you can take a warm shower and massage the area to help ease it. I always like going for a small walk after to help blood flow and promote better absorption. And even though you're saying the pain is a bit down which is great and all the fact that this has been going on over a week is concerning, not to freak you out but I'd consider getting it checked out if it persists any longer...

Im glad you started the amoxicillin. Thats what the doc would do at this point. If it gets worse, then the doc would give you anti biotic shot in the ass, then next is anti biotic by iv, then next is cut that sucker open.
I cant tell how bad it is by the pic, but i had an infection in my quad from an injection and i hate to tell ya, but oral anti biotics didnt clear it up. I had to go to ER and get shot in the ass. It was gone the next day. Never pinned a quad since. I would give it two or three days on the amoxicillin. If it gets a lot worse during that time, go to the ER. You will know when it goes from being irritated to being an infection. It will start to get more red and more tender in the middle.

Stay away from quads for one depending on the compound, my quads cannot take Prop at all but is pain free with other compounds, as other members here have said with safe injection tips never do more than 2ml in one site.

Try switching labs and compare, I have never heard of wicked labs before. Also for the quads and most other area's remember its upper outer section of the muscle.

I just did a little research. It seems that wicked labs is a new ugl. They make one product, test e 300mgs/ml. I havent read anything bad about it. There are new labs popping up everyday. Unbelievable.

I had to draw the line this morning and go in to see the doc. It was beginning to swell and hurt closer to my knee. I got in an he thought it was an infection immediately, I was also running a fever. He gave me a shot in my ass and gave me oral antibiotics. I can't wait for this to clear up, not being able to train is killing me.

I find high dosed compounds can cause the swelling and fever i.e. 400mg/cc or at least exacerbate the problem. Every Friday, i shoot 800mg test/tren and get chills and a fever for the next two days -- the last 4 weeks. This time to compound the problem -- even the lateral and top side of the glute is swollen. Going up the stairs is made difficult by the pain. I could imagine the pain in the quads, i always avoid shots there.

Anyways welcome to the club of 'no pain - no gain'. :o
