If you had low-lowish SHBG the Androgel is not for yoy. You will have run away Estradiol and Free T while on TRT.
You were very likely experiencing elevated ESTRADIOL.
Estradiol out of range causes anxiety, rage, insomnia, higher BP, water retention, libido and ED issues.
Guys who did not do well on androgel almost always do better on the shots.

The endo did not bother to have the E2 checked - and on top of it all she told me it was IMPOSSIBLE I was having this reaction because of the treatment. Dropped her like a rock and talked to my family doctor, who hooked me up with the urologist both he and his wife goes to. This guy has been great.

Aside from the anxiety. She would have lead you to BPH with un controlled estradiol levels and she would have blamed the TRT and possibly pulling you off.
I dumped a few endos too cause they dont test for Estradiol let alone treat it if elevated.
