PCT keeping most gains advice

Hi all,

I'm coming to the end of a 500mg a week test cyp cycle (10 weeks long), and have made insane strength gains and gained about 15lbs, a lot of muscle, some fat purely due to eating like a douche. at least i can admit it right! I have the proper PCT lined up with nolva and clomid but what are your guys advice on keeping the most gains as possible? Aside from keeping the intensity in the gym high, should I up my calories? keep carbs/protein high? or drop the carbs too prevent fat gain. Also how long in the future, after PCT, would you suggest starting to drop the calories to drop some fat. Thanks so much fan
 
There are a few strategies you can use.

My best advice:

-Try to not go into PCT with too much fat on you. It's going to put your body in a bad place and you're going to have a harder time recovering and staying muscular. Never try to cut in PCT of course.

-Keep protein high. You don't want a negative nitrogen balance.

-Peptides such as GHRP-6, Ipamorelin, CJC, etc... for Growth hormone.

-Insulin (if you can trust yourself to use it properly)

Otherwise man... you gotta just keep training hard and eating properly.
 
A diet high in EFAs apparently helps too. I would also try and keep all micronutrient values up.. Take a multivitamin and fishoil should help.
 
use pct tonot only recover your hpta but at some point yougot to let the connective tissues catch up and rest.

No heavy single s or triples, keep your volume up but really adhere to rules of rest diet and diet as mentioned. Steroids thrive in a caloric rich environment...depending on your own body make sure you feed the machine with good gas and oil but do not enter any " races or tractor pulls" right now by trying to train and eat like on cycle. Maintain gains, heal your chasis then should you keep this lifestyle, balance and blue print that cycle, diet and forge ahead.
 
thanks guys, really appreciate the advice. what are your thoughts on carbs, should i keep them in the moderate range with protein being high and fats being moderate as well?
 
you definetly want to keep your preotein intake as high as possible so u can optimize any synthesis that is happening at the time and to maintain muscle . Another is keep your calories the same if not higher when u cut . When u come off cycle your test is going to be low and the only thing there the preserve your mass is going to be the protein and calories . So keep them very high . u want to recover ASAP is the deal . so clomid something like 100/50/50/50/ and nolva 40/20/20/20/ . that's 4 weeks of those doses every day , but im sure u know or have a similar idea by now .
 
good posts above... I cut out all cardio, minus sex. I up my cals and add peptides in as well during pct.... usually start feeling better at the 8 week mark..

another thing I will add to my future pct and beyond is zma, and longjack root.... I have been off for a while, got low bloods back after being off for a year started those supps and got my level back up into normal range.
 
your diet is going to be one of the most important things in all of this...


make 3 of your meals lean beef

add zinc at 30mg twice daily

add DAA


why do we do this??? to give your body what it needs to make natty test.. pretty simple
 
thanks fellas, diet will be on point. i have my last pin on tuesday so probable around the 20th i will start my PCT. I really do not think that I am all that shutdown, but that could be totally wrong as i know the only way to really tell is with blood tests. Are there any ways of telling how shut down i am?
