I have some questions about pectoral steroid injection.
First, a little background. I regularly take anabolic steroid as a replacement therapy, as I'm very low by nature. I'm not terribly interested in getting massive or in cycles (maybe I should be). I have done site injection on my biceps back in 2005 or so and saw great results. I'm happy the way they are.
Okay, so pecs.
There's a lot of data that suggests this is pretty darned dangerous, being a vascular and nerve-rich area, not to mention close to your heart.
My pecs are the biggest problem in my workouts. No matter what I do, they just never get big. It really irritates me. And I'm talking about years of workouts, different training routines, etc.
My pecs are not so thick that a long needle would be needed. So with this in mind:
* How (if at all) can I do this reasonably and safely?
* A 1/2" 5/8" needle is probably indicated now (not much there!)
* What is "aspirating the muscle"?
* How much should I put in there? I'm guessing 1/2 cc
* In muscles like the pecs, biceps, triceps, is the testosterone likely to stay localized or will it become systemic?
My normal dose of Testosterone (currently Testim, but I have injection cypionate and enanthate that I was doing). My levels are up in the 600's. I monitor my PSAs and they never elevated when I was doing injections, they are still normal.
I switched to rub-on test because it appeared to be really messing with my blood pressure. High bp is in the family. Now that it's under control, I believe I could do a little bit and be safe, just not really huge amounts. (anyone who cares to comment on that part, please by all means).
Overall my concern is for safety. But dammit, I want my pecs to grow, it's giving me a complex...
Oh yeah, I'm 42. I'm in reasonably good shape -- been working out for many years.
Thanks in advance for good advice, tips, etc.
