Did you take it to courts martial of accept njp? Sorry for all the questions. But the more we can learn about this situation is better to protect ourselves later

didn't want to court martial because the possible outcome of brigg time etc I just accepted njp best thing to do to protect self is if you get a bad feeling when u go to get it don't sign or touch it tell them u are not expecting a pkcg and refuse refuse refuse they cant force it on you

I've heard you can apply to have your discharge bumped up after a certain amount of time. Maybe yoy could at least get g.I. bill if you served 2 full years before you got the green weenie

Actually, getting your discharge upgraded when its a narcotics charge, is challenging to say the least. I was convicted of soliciting marijuana. Got a General Under Honorable (lucky my judge was a Marine Reservist (they are more like civilians) doing his 2 weeks on Active duty, otherwise I would have gotten a Big Chicken Dinner also). Years later, I applied for upgrade. Got letters of recommendation from everyone (Employers, Employees, Friends, Family, Aldermen, Cops). Did volunteer work at homeless shelter for Veterans. It was a very compelling case....that got "DENIED". There response was "they see no reason to upgrade my character of service". It was a real kick in the balls. I stopped applying for upgrade because it's the kind of bad news you don't want to keep getting over and over again.

Don't forget that. They can't take all blood, sweat, and tears! Semper Fi means always faithful to God, Corps, and Country. I ship out to Canada a fair bit and have never had any troubles as long as the package is under 2kg and wrapped well. There are always ways of getting 'supplies' to any Country, even Australia, it is all to do with the packing.
