Please help! Anyone who is knowledgeable with endocrine problems

Hey guys I'm completely new here and I didn't know where to post about this but this seems like the most relevant forum.

I'm going through chemotherapy for cancer atm and one of the drugs is prednisolone (a corticosteroid). I was wondering if anyone knows
a) if its possible to return your adrenal function back to normal (I'm on 100mg a day for 2 weeks then 1 week off, 8 cycles of that) and
b) if theres anything I can do to maintain my adrenal function at all in the 1 week off

Any information would be helpful, I've read a bunch of stuff about adrenal insufficiency but nothing specific to me besides that doctors will wean you off the steroids.

Welcomer Bro!! Im sorry to hear about your situation. I have to be completely honest, I know nothing about this issue. I hope you find some answers and best of luck to you. I would hope that your doctor would be the best source of information regrading your concerns.

Thanks man. I've asked him a bunch of questions but besides listing the side effects he hasn't really gone into detail because he's a haematologist (hope that's spelt right) and deals with blood problems not really endocrine problems. I will definitely see an endocrinologist at some point though because I really want to be able to get back to normal and start lifting again as soon as possible ><
