plenty of calories and losing size

i'm new here so hi everyone.

i have some trouble: i'd like to put on weight and lose fat at the same time. i've read pullinbig posts, where he says that it's possible.
so i've got my callories intake about 400 above my daily requisition. i eat about 400 g of complex carbo in my training days and about 350 when i have a day off.
i eat carbo at breakfast, around my training (usualy at 12.00) and never after 16.00 (later only proteins and fats). i follow pullinbig's routine (posted in training section), and i'm losing size (but definition is better). is it possible that i'm losing muscle? or is it just fat and with this diet i can put some muscles on me ?

thanks for the answers

If you plan on losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time you should either use the mirror to judge or buy some skin calipers. The scale will most likely not change now because whatever fat you lose will be subsided in weight by the muscle you gain.

If you are losing size then you are not getting plenty of calories. Everybody is different you cannot go by some chart or guidelines. Understanding your metabolism is a key factor in bodybuilding nutrition.
