Like most everyone I'm a member of several boards, some for 8 years ,some now gone,some I just don't trust cause I'm sure their Fed run ( call me paranoid). However I've always noticed how as oppossed to a lot of brothas stating whats really their PERSONAL ( key word) opinion about certain brands or products, with the others in search of wisdom or knowledge (especially boards that sponser a certain brand or product) if the opinion is negative and really a reflection of their experience with said brands or products a lot of Mods and members with time in on that board get real uptight and even rude . Being respectful is a must when giving an opinion but also when listening to anothers opinion about anything. Unless the members or mod's are personally envolved with that company in some way other than informational sharing of what they consider a good product ( we all know what I mean) I fail to understand the bashings seen regularly given. Sometimes it's quite obvious that there's a sort of protection of a sponser who perhaps does not deserve that protection and should not be "off limits" to a bad review. Sometimes as a matter of fact MOST times 'political correctness' to avoid being slammed about one's honest experience is a major diservice to people in search of info and a reflection sometimes of something behind the scene that benefits a board and not it's members. Clicks form and become online "lench mobs" if a word is spoken againist the quality of something when in reality it should possibly be taken into consideration and dealt with with respect and honor as something to be " food for thought". NO ONE is above being questioned when it comes to a compound that will effect the body as much as the compounds that comes from folks you don't know, who don't know you and have really no way be to held responsible for what happens to it's users. If you read a post about a product you found to be a cool experience for you don't overlook the the fact that you may not have had a bad experience YET ( yet meaning = You're Eligible Too) .I seen it everywhere some not as bad as others but it's pretty much a common trait that one becomes used to seeing and learns to deal with in a politicly correct way. I 'm guilty of that behavior as I will not post about quality of a product on a board until I get feel for that board to avoid the attack of what I call " computer gang bangers". I've learned over the years to detect a troll as well as someone who just wants the truth. Perhaps as cats who all share an interest in the same subject, we may want to give our brothas a bit of respect and check things out that make us question something as opposed to blindly trying to keep everybody happy and not get banned for keeping it real. Speak the truth ,then be about the truth when it comes to you. NO ONE KNOWS EVERYTHING ! Just a thought I wanted to share with the bros.
