first problem ever in years, Test prop to the Tricep- a little painful, red, warm to the touch. day 5. Fuck. what do you think?

still to early to tell IMO, prop is sometimes painful to begin with, and being that I have experience with it, no two shots are the same, sometimes they hurt sometimes they dont, I couldnt walk for three days from a calf injection, and this is after 4 weeks of prior injections in that same spot, looked exactly like that...it wasnt an abcess, just a shitty shot that week......so keep an eye on it, if any localized discoloration occurs, a high fever, or any spot usually would be the injection site in this case has any discharge, and a specific area becomes very painful.....now expect the injection area to be a little more sensitive that the surrounding tissue.... but use good judgement if it just unbearable to the touch type pain....see a doctor.....if not just keep an eye on it and ice helped mine alot.....good luck

thx- i've been injecting for over a week and other sites are fine. i know tri shots are a bitch i might see a doc tomorrow or Monday.

Looks like cellulitis due to a bad injection technique. Clean good? New pin? ect ect. I get that every once in awhile when I don't pay attention and clean the site like I should.

My quad looked like that all 3 times ive tried to inject there. It wasnt an abcess for me, just a localized reaction. Have you ever had a problem injecting tris before?

drew with a 20g pin which i used once before and resealed , shot with a new 25g pin- i know thats a no, no -and i was in a hurry.
did you get it treated?

You will be fine, that's just a reaction to an injection, imo... I used to get it often with certain shots, and it always went away.

thanks everyone! Redness has seemed to go down, but still sore and tight like a prop shot should be- no localized discoloration or visable infection. Strange because i've been shooting for 2 weeks now and all other sites are fine. ??

my triceps would get really red too but never an infection. One time my elbow swelled out so far it looked so dumb lol

i had a similar problem with test e. half my ass would swell up and it would take about a week to go away.

the advice i got was to warm oil with a blow dryer.after injection massage area with a warm wash cloth.

could be from using the same neddle twice.i would never do that again if i were you.

thx- I know- I only used the 20g needle to draw with twice- not to stick with twice. Still not ideal though.
