Possible low testosterone and in the military need help

It's probably low because your t is low. Mine was the same way before I started therapy. It'll rise when your T goes up. Did they check other values such as SHBG, Vit D, prolactin, etc.

Not on this test. I had my SHBG tested twice and it was 21.2 and 15.1. I had my Vitamin D checked on May 16th and it was in the low 20's. My Primary Care Provider has me on 50,000 IUs of D2 for 8 weeks (I'm 4 weeks into it) and then I will retest Vitamin D. My Prolactin was also Normal. So really just low T, low LH (2.9 and 3.1 the two times I had it checked), and FSH low.

At one point my Dr made it seem like everyone produces different amounts of T and since my LH is normal, that maybe my body is producing what it should. Is that correct? Also i still get an occasional morning wood, no problem getting it up. My main symptoms are fatigue, moody, trouble concentrating. Thoughts?

The doc is correct (in a way), we all produce different amounts of test, but there is a range and if a person is out of range, or in the low normal range, and they have symptoms, then the doc should further check for hypogonadism or other causes of the low t. Basically, what is happening to you is that your testicles don't know that they're not producing enough testosterone. Your pituitary gland doesn't see that you don't have enough testosterone in your blood so they're not sending out more FSH and LH to tell your testicles to get to work and produce more testosterone.

You have the low numbers, you have the symptoms, you have secondary hypogonadism. If you were primary, then that is testicle problems. Your LH and FSH would be high. Your pituitary would be screaming (sending more FSH and LH) down to your testicles, trying to force them to produce more testosterone.

Your Estradiol is pretty low.
Your secondary hypo. Anything >2 is low FSH from all the labs I gone too. Your LH is low normal.

Thanks for the info! I made a follow up with the urologist. My Primary Care Doc agreed to give me a weekly testosterone test. I think it's just going to be total T. I told her I wasn't happy with the diagnosis the urologist gave me (which was your fine.) So my follow up is at the end of July. I'll take the weekly test and then at least have a larger sample size to argue my case. I wonder why most of my reading were in the mid 200's (about 6 tests) and then I had two outliers, one test was 385 and one 319. Does that make sense to anyone? I feel like crap but me and my wife are going to try for kiddo #3 so I don't think I'm ready to start TRT until after she is pregnant. Could my low FSH be a reason why I had two boys? We want healthy but wouldn't mind having a girl and then closing up shop. We also got pregnant the first two times very easily but that was 2 years ago. I know a lot of question, thanks for the answers in advance.

I've never heard of low FSH causing boys in pregnancy.
Weekly Testnis over kill.
Once a month should do over a 6 month + period.
I dont get it. You are in the u.s and guys on here have 348 ng/dl as a low range and 1140 or so as the high end of the range.
You need to test SHBG at the very least along with your TT.
Bio Avail. T would be best...but docs calculate what is bio available with SHBG & TT.
Your gp is a woman?
Hows it like dealing with her?
I dont know how to take women as far as Testosterone is concerned.

She is pretty awesome, the urologist is a man and he is the one saying I'm fine. She is at least willing to give me the tests, and she said if the urologist doesn't help this next time and if he won't send me to an Endo, she will write the referral herself. I just don't understand why he thinks I'm fine. Fatigue, moody, lack of concentration. Morning Total T tests of 150, 250, 246, 255, 385, 312, 269, with SHBG of 21 and 15, Albumin of 4.7 to 4.8, LH of 2.9. Everything you guys have said and everything I've read online shouts Secondary Hypo-G, but he says "your healthy". Am I missing something?

There are lots of docs like him. I've had endos lift my TT to 383 ng/dl and try to send me on my way saying it's a normal level to live at. I was at 250 ng/dl low on range and another endo told me "your levels are not abnormally low and I can't treat you cause Testosterone causes prostate cancer"...
You have to weed out docs like this who are basically anti TRT and not up to date on treatment protocols.
Like I said earlier. ...tons of docs would rather you go away and suffer in silence.
