Post back surgery thinking about 1 cycle

where to begin, I guess i'm looking for an edge or a boost to get things jump started again. In September of 2014 I had surgery on my lower back, during the recovery time I did light cardio (walking, jogging, hiking up trails). I want to start running again but at my current weight and weakness in my leg muscles it is very difficult, which I believe everyone says at one point or another. I'm not looking to turn into a juice head, just looking to get back in shape and weigh 190-200lbs. At first I was turned on to taking Tren the miracle formula but after digging into that idea and reading on this forum I soon realized tren would be a no no and a bad idea. What do you guys suggest? I'm thinking about doing one cycle.

age 30
height 5'11
weight 228

Get a diet coach. It would be money well spent plus you would keep the gains longer. Check out 3j. He's got different options for you. A cycle at this time would do you no good. Aas doesn't burn fat or anything like that. It's seriously all diet.

If u were 40 or 50 ....but at 30 u ve got time AND natty test to lose this unwanted fat.

AAS are really for building muscle not for post surgical body re-comp. The boost in energy in the form of motivation and muscle building will be there but so will the urge to keep upping the weight.

I do not want to run you off but rather steer you correctly. If u got even 6 months into really eating aerobissicing to lose the fat...then..but as you said your not looking to be a meathead etc...aas are not your best route. I too am 5 11 and use AAS to maintain 215 ish as I m old as dirt deal with serious injuries and such. Hope u don t bail out.

thank you guys for your input. I don't want to do a cycle to lose fat, was more interested in making my leg muscles stronger. Would you guys suggest picking up something over the counter like at GNC?

GNC? No. The grocery store? Yes.

Food is the most anabolic substance there is, bar none. AAS is just a tool to increase the efficiency in what your body does with it. Healing first is priority number one, and AAS may cause you more injuries as your connective tissues don't grow at the same rate as muscle does.

I would suggest that you do however get a private blood test like that from privatemdlabs.com which has a "female menopausal" hormone panel that covers most of what you would need to see where you stand in the first place.

Teutonic and tbonexl gave excellent advice to get you started. Unfortunately there aren't any short cuts, regardless what you might see on the Internet or TV. It's always been diet and training, and always will be.

My .02c :)
