Post-workout carb suggestions

Hey bros -

Starting my spring cutter at the beginning of May. Been pigging out for the last cpuple months and, of course, that has to cease. I plan on limiting my carb intake to two meals per day; my morning meal and post-workout. It'll probably end up[ being sweet potatoes, brown rice or oats exclusively in the A.M., but I'm looking ofr ideas for a good post-workout carb that'll give me a good insulin spike. Any suggestions are appreciated, but if they taste good, even better. Also, while we're on the subject, I'll also take suggestion on the amount of carbs per meal. I was thinking of between 50-100 mgs per (leaning towards the 50 and then raising it if I feel the need). Thanks. BTW, my stats are;

5' 7"
200 lbs.
BF 10-12% (approx.)

Looking to get to single digits (I tend to stay pretty lean, even when bulking). Will be doing cardio 5x/week.

dextrose 50g
Limti yourself to 150g of total carbs, in the AM
So one meal have 1 cup uncooked oatmeal
Then for lunch, have some brown rice or a medium sweet potato

Thanx bro. What type of food can I get just dextrose from, or can I buy dextrose tabs somewhere special.

or you could go to a site like proteincustomizer.com and get your dextrose, whey and creatine or glutamine and flavoring all in one.

Im not sure where your carbs were at before bu SBG is right, I went from bulk mode to cut mode, from 450g to 375g a week later, to 275g the next week, to 200g week after, and now where im at 150g. Make it gradual. I raised my fat slowly as I dropped the carbs too.

I think the tapering of the carbs is sound advice, but why in the world would I raise my fat intake during a cutter?

Healthy fats like flax seed oil and CLA will actually help you to burn bodyfat. They also give you energy and keep you a bit more sane while going on lower carbs.

Thanks, guys. Ii appreciate it.:bigok: :biggthump

Good fuckin respond Silverback.

Yeah I would not just drop the carbs that fast, gradually ease into it.

Use flax, CLA, and some Natural Peanutbutter but don't go over board.

Hey Silverback,
I see you like the ast website. The other day I trained with Jeff Dillet, he is looking good. I asked him how I can stay leaner during off season and he gave me a sweet little routine. Yeah he swears by that ast shit, I mean his diet and training, and supplementation is down to the 'T'.

Oh yeah I wil be in Vegas in a couple weeks!!!!

Man did you really get to train with Jeff? That is fucking awesome! He is my favorite natural bb and I truly feel that he is. How did you get to train with him? I know he swears by the AST training methods and he should in my opinion because that is basically what I do and I have grown so much in the last couple of years and my strength just keeps climbing as well. Hey get back to me on this if you can as I am interesterd in what all happened with you and Willet, later bro.

Yeah dude I think he is natural too, he showed me some posing tricks too, he is a really nice guy. We trained for like 3 hrs. Yeah the AST training methods works very well. You could just tell that he is natural. He is looking good though, he said that he is weighting the heaviest he has ever weighted....215lbs......solid though. Doesn't look like a freak or anything but dense ass shit and has that rock hard look. Dude i am heading down to Vegas the beg of May...what's up!!!!!!! lolol:40oz:
