Potentially caught blasting on TRT

I've been on TRT for over 3 years now. I came off a blast using deca and test e and ended up having to get labs done about 6 weeks after my last injection. My labs came back mostly normal: good cholesterol, hemoglobin and hematocrit were only 1 point high, liver is in check, estradiol was at 35. However, my total test came back at 1,300 with free test at 103.

Now, I realize I fucked up on the timing of this and it was bad choice using deca in this time frame. I still have to schedule my call with my doc to go over the results. Question is, what do I tell the clinic when they ask me about the anomalous test numbers?

You got off track and did an extra injection.

It was a peak result.

Can't be right. Let's retest. Ask them to use the LC-MS Assay since it won't get a false post testosterone reading off the Deca. That's assuming they ran the ECLIA assay.

Pick one or some combo.

You didn't say what you normally come in at by the way

Exactly what Megatron said. You took an extra injection by mistake. BTW. Your Free Testosterone looks a little low for your total test being 1300...

Perfect advice above. I too am on trt and I do blast. I came in high and told the doc my shot was the day before my results. He usually has me come in three days after shot so this explained the high reading in his mind. My estrogen and hematocrit were both high as well. Told him I missed my last anastrozole dose and that I was due for a donation. Very irresponsible of me but I am still learning :)

Thanks man. Good point on the labs - I'm usually at 700. I did have LCMS done that gave me the 1300 reading. I previously had ECLIA a few weeks before (privately) and it was over 1500.

I did have some surgery a couple weeks before and spent a week and half recovering so I think your advice will definitely work. The call is tomorrow so I'm hoping. Thanks.
