Proper way to pin ?'s.......................

Hi All

I pin in the glutes. I rotate every other time(once every 10 days). Ive been doing this for years but have been reading how I need to find other spots....thigh, shoulder, etc.
I think I may have an issue because 9x out of 10 when I push down on the plunger it doesnt go in. I have to back it out a little then it will start to go in.

What Id like to know is:
- I never aspirate before I hit the plunger. Is this something I need to do?
- Why do you think the plunger doesnt go down at first? Did I make so much scar tissue I f'd something up?

Thanks for any and all advice

Text book you do aspirate because you don't want to push into a vessel that's why you aspirate if you get blood in return your in a vessel. For gear you want IM intramuscular. You can pin the meaty part of your thigh outside thigh I do shoulders and triceps where it is meaty. As far as not being able to push it through It depends on the size of needle if it's to small if a gauge it makes it difficult to push some of the oil base substances because it's thick stuff. I use bigger needles just to push right in no prob like a 23 or 21 gauge needle some times a 25 but no smaller than that I would recommend 5/8- 1 1/2 inch long it's up to you good luck

If you've only been darting your glutes for the past several years, chances are you have built some scar tissue now, that is why it is getting harder to inject the compound. I too, have this problem and it got even worse after i started pinning Test prop (obviously), so I just went elsewhere, no big deal.

Look into other areas to pin, shoulders weren't too bad for me the first time, and i hear Ventrogluteal is a nice relatively painless spot as well.

Best of luck

ps, damn eatyourwheaties, pinning with a 21g needle??? i cant even imagine that goin into my tricep.. i guess i need to eat more wheaties lol :P
