I got mine checked last year (which by the way is quite uncomfortable). Feels like u got 2 take a nasty dump when the dock has what seems to be his arm in yer ass. I have done several cycles never running 17aa drugs for more than 6 wks. He said mine was normal. Obviously every one is different but I belive that Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) have had no impact on mine.

Voted yes as I'm due my 3rd jab today and have over the past 2 days felt what I believe to be an enlargement of the prostate. Constantly feel like I need to p1$$ and have a full bladder. Even though I don't.

If you get get prostate cancer you will have blood in stool and urine. You will know it.
Good to get checked out by doctor every year.

I've had my prostate checked several times. It is a necessary factor of age. Something none of us should be afraid to do. I also had a blood workup before my cycle began, and my PSA was normal.
That being said, I have had several bouts with BPH. The last one was this evening. This last one, I knew was because of the juice I am on, because in addition to the uncomfortable feeling, I was cranky as shit. (Don't tell me men can't be hormonal.) Anyway, I still had a workout to do this evening, but I felt like climbing into bed.
I have tried finisteride many times, and yes, it is effective. I have also been working on a (personal) theory, which was the result of something I read some time ago that mentioned that BPH was caused by the conversion of Test to DHT by the 5AR receptors, not the DHT itself.
Back to this evening. I had a choice to make--climb into bed or find a solution. I chose not to climb into bed. I also chose not to take finisteride. I chose instead to take Methyl-DHT. Not only did my prostate shrink back to into a 'normal' space within a half hour, but I also had one hell of a leg workout.
I've read all the theories, most written by those who have never experienced these problems. Sometimes, I have to trust my gut, or in this case, my prostate. This is not the first time I have tried this and had the same successful result.
DHT is not the devil. Taken exogenically, it can help prevent the 5AR conversion from happening. And in addition, the androgenic properties of DHT are of major benefit for reducing fat. And, I have absolutely no problem 'getting it up'.

Serious difficulty urinating. Feels like the hose is clamped off. A very uncomfortable 'bulk' between your urinal tract and your anus. For me, today, I even had a difficult time taking a crap, because it felt like a blockage.

ESTROGEN AND PROSTATE CANCER

Report #6731 2/16/96
All men will develop prostate cancer if they live long enough. Several recent studies show that a man's susceptibility to prostate cancer may be influenced more by his exposure to the female hormone, estrogen, than to the male hormone, testosterone.
A derivative of the male hormone, testosterone, stimulates the prostate to grow, but a recent article in the medical journal, Prostate, suggests that it does this only after the prostate has been sensitized by the female hormone, estrogen. (1) Men with the highest blood levels of estrogen are the ones most likely to get prostate cancer (2). Blood levels of the male hormones, testosterone and dihydrotestosterone, produced by a man's body are not associated with susceptibility to suffer prostate cancer (2). Prostate cancer is not associated with frequency of sexual activity and there is no evidence that it is caused by taking male hormones or an infection. Athletes who take large doses of male hormones have not been shown to be at increased risk for prostate cancer.

A high fat, low-vegetable diet is associated with an increased risk for prostate cancer, and a low-fat diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans is associated with protection against this cancer (3). A study in the British journal, Lancet, shows plant sterols help to shrink an enlarged prostate at least as much as Proscar does, and when given to humans, plant sterols block some of the effects of the female hormone, estrogen.(4) So, eat a low-fat diet that contains fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans that are rich sources of sterols and other phytochemicals to block human estrogens and oxidant reactions in the body.
