One of the 3 orders I placed with PSL did not make it and they are telling me I need to go get a PO Box or they will not reship is this common?

Not sure if its common, but I've had several shipments from PSL. The ones that were sent to my house never made it, everyone sent to a PO box did

Never had problem. All made it to the front door from multiple sellers. PSL is spot on and I'm sure GOTGrowth their rep will pop in here to give a few words of reassurance. Meanwhile I would go through the email process provided to gain info that you may need.

What difference would a PO Box make? To get a PO Box in my state you have to give them your drivers license in order to register the box.....which has your name and address on it anyways!?

For security reasons, if a package gets seized in customs, they want to ship the re-ship to an alternate address. It's in case your address gets flagged. It greatly increases your chances of the second package getting to you safely.

ANOTHER reason to go PSL. I need to get a PO btw.....

Ya ll know how COOL this is; they ll resend but already are 1 step ahead w a 2 nd step...BACKUP...if your a regular and DO NOT have plan B then......hint hint hint

Didn't think of the reship part, that makes perfect sense! Guess I'll be getting a PO Box, thanks for the advice!

But if you have another address to send to like a friends or relative that would be ok right.

And I guess with a PO box no signature is required cause the Box is always a confirmed delivery?

Yes, any alternate address will do. Just make sure you send it to someone you trust!

As for PO box, you still sign for international orders upon pick-up. It is not confirmed a delivery until it is signed for. The tracking will show "available for pickup at location". Once you sign for it, the tracking will update to "delivered". If noone comes in to sign it after a certain period, they would just send it back to the sender.

With a P.O BOX it works the same way as a residential delivery... if you're not home they leave
a note stating you have a package at the PO that requires a signature.

Here's a different scenario that just happen to me... it is not gear or anything
related - just something purchased online.

The product is being delivered - USPS Priority 2-3 day.

I can see the correct mailing address - the time it left the store - the time the PO received it -
the time it left that state... "and then nothing for two days?"

I called the post office - they have no idea where it's at and have to open a research case.

It's not anything that would get seized so it's no big deal, and the company is sending me out
another item... sometimes the post office simply screws up - and even looses priority mail.

So in that case, if its gear thats lost, do you open a research case ? or just let that one pass by?

That's a tough call. I'd probably leave it alone...

I had one shipment that was certified mail delivered to a soccer mom bitch neighbor. I filed a case and got it back. Luckily the PO was so embarrassed to have fucked up...that and sheriff could care less. Still lots of drama over what it was.

Next time I'll let it be.
