push ups for hardgainers?

hey, just wondering about push ups. im a hardgainer. would you guys recommend push ups for bulking or should i stay away from them and stick to the bench press? thanks.
 
Welcome to the forum!

Nutrition brings size and strength, not so much the push-ups nor bench press.

Compound lifts are the way to go.

Squat, Deadlift and Press'

alright, compound lifts. ill bring my nutrition up too. i tend to avoid squats and dead lifts but i keep reading that so many ppl swear by them to gain size. thanks for the welcome.

kris speaks the truth and you have the right idea squats and lifts like those are key if your really trying to grow.
