Quad injections?

Anyone else favor these? I switched from the glutes on the latest pin and I liked the control aspect and all, I was wondering though.. half my quad is pretty sore... is this just from the reaction of the new muscle from a foreign substance? I know I got it in the muscle, it was quite a distinguishing difference when I inserted the pin. Im just wondering why the injection site isn't sore but a lot of the muscle itself is... any takers? thanks

I perfer quads as well. Make sure the needle gauge and length is correct. Upon starting a cycle with quads I am always a little tight for a few days. Keep an eye out for redness, heat and lumps..

I use a 23 or 25 gauge 1.5" and desire a 5/8" to 1" depth into quad muscle. Massage the area well once gear has been injected to help dispurce.

I just tried quads for the first time (this is my 3rd cycle) and I have no issue on my right quad. No blood, very little soreness cant even tell I pinned there.

My left quad however is different. The first time I pinned I barley got in and the muscle twitched hard, I pushed a litle deeper and again a hard twitch. I pulled the pin out without injecting, a little blood and for about a week I had a big bruise that turned light green and purple. No infection just an ugly spot on my leg. The second time I pinned my left quad it went in okay but half my quad was very sore for days.

I always take time to massgae a little and even stretch a little a couple hours later. Some say virgin muscle plays a role but I'm just gonna stay away from the left side, lol.

I got a big ass, so I hate doing glutes. Too damn hard.

Quads are easy as you mentioned for the control aspect. No twitches, but I do get pretty sore.

I prefer in order: delts, quads, ......glutes.

I can't handle quad shots. They're easy to get to but leave me limping for 4-5 days.I shot 150 mg of prop in my right quad once and it ruined my leg workouts for the week. It's hard to squat 600 lbs when you are having trouble walking without grunting and groaning.

I'm thinking about pining my quad again with EQ only instead of the more harsh prop or test E.I'm going to make sure I have the next 3-4 days open in case it kicks like a mule.

quads can hurt-i would say outta of the 3 main-delts are most painless. but they are a pain to do by yourself sometimes.

I like doing my quads and have found that the following 2 things extremely reduce pain and swelling.

1) sit flat on the floor-with your leg fully extended. this is how i get the quad the most relaxed.

2) pinch a big hunk of the muscle with one hand then pin with the other, while pinching. once the pin is in-i let go-aspirate-then inject.

these 2 things have made me go from slight pain-to 0 pain in the quads.
