yea I just took some ibuprofen and its seems to help. Hurts the most when I stand up.
Try BENADRYL and hydro cortisone cream I can't guarantee that will work but its worth a try.
So its been 4 days and you've seen no improvement in the swelling?
how many shots have you hit your quads with?

I took an ibuprofen last night which helped temporarily with the pain, any suggestions on how to reduce swelling with the quads? Only advice I've pretty much heard is to apply heat and massage and wait it out.

I don't know about other guys, but I've found massaging an injection site makes it WORSE. If it's really bothering you, I recommend a nice hot shower and ibuprofen as you're taking. Just my experience, take it for what its worth.

On first week so just one in each, right one isn't as bad but still painful as I did it a few days before the left. The left one I can't put any weight on it at all, feels like some hit it with a sledgehammer. I'm not jumping to any conclusions for atlesst a couple more days and will attribute it to virgin muscles. If not better by day 7 gonna take antibiotics

If the one other one isnt as bad then that's sort of a good thing and knocks out some of the worries.

This is why I haven't pinned my quads yet. Makin me paranoid y'all.

nothing to fear my freind, pinning quads aint shit...too easy.

I read that Ice works with the swelling... Unless you have some kind of wound that's showing I doubt its bacteria. There's a good post I read about the 3 reasons why you get swelling post injection and the remedy of each. let me know and I will pm it to you.
