question about eating while out drinking alcohol

just wanted to know if u can actually keep muscle gains / size / strength etc if ur eating the right amount of protein / nutrients ever 2 - 3 hours while ur out drinken alcohol aswell, obviously u will get fatter / bad sleep patterns / feel shit in the morning/ loose testorone and probly alot more other bad things that i cant think of.... but just wanted to know if u can still keep ur muscle gains at the same time?? or does it not absorb properly or how does it all work anyone know?
 
Other than extra cals and extra estrogen there aren't reasons that I know of that would severely impact your results. Proper use of an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) will handle the estro and if you are aware of how many calories your drinking you can offset it as long as you aren't sacrificing protein or carb cals for alcohol cals. And I'm assuming very moderate drinking. Not a binge.

But u might be surprised to learn that a minority of people carry the enzyme that produces that smell. Something like 40%. Even more bizarre is that only about 25% of the population can actually smell it, suggesting that you could produce it, but not even know it.

As for me, I went out and had a bourbon and two beers the other night, with a greasy hamburger and onion rings on my cheat night. This is the first time on gear, and man, I had the worst night, sweats, and pounding heartbeat (not rapid, just constantly aware of it). Gonna avoid it in the future while on gear I think.
 
protain synthisist is effected greatly when you drink booze so it dont matter how much you keep on top of the intake of protein it wont be used.

One time i ate mad McDonalds after the clubs. I couldn't fall asleep, finally after a couple hours i had to throw it all up.

Moral of the story.... If your gonna cheat. cheat smart.

I have read a study that showed drinking decreased protein synthesis by only 20%. not too much but still a big deal in my book
 
its 20% to much for me also.
dont get me wrong i like a nice cold beer when it hot out and some rye in the evenings once in a while. but i'm also older then some.
