Would 5000unit bottle reconstituted with 5ML of water at .5UI dose be the same dose as a 10000unit bottle reconstituted with 10ML of water at .5UI dose?

my questions I guess is I recently switched from a 5000 to a 10000 and I want to make sure I mix it correctly and have it be the same dose

Ok, I think you're confused over concentrations here. For starters, I think you meant 0.5ml dose giving you 500iu of HCG yes?

Math: 5,000iu/5ml = 1,000iu/ml.
10,000iu/10ml = 1,000iu/ml.

So in either case, at 1,000iu/ml x 0.5 = 500iu.

Yes, they are identical in concentration for your desired dose. ;)

My .02c :)

Yes. Both scenarios leave you with the same concentration of 1,000IU/ml.

But your volume/unit of measurement is a little confusing. I'm assuming that you're using a 1ml syringe to draw 0.5ml. That's the volume of hCG that you're drawing up, not the dose. If you're drawing up 0.5ml, the dose of hCG that you're injecting is 500IU...not 0.5UI.
