Question about the pain after injecting?

Ok, first time I injected so it could be the norm. I used test-e with a 25 g needle, warmed it up but didn't get it hot or anything. Took about a minute to inject, did it in the glute. The injection didn't hurt or anything, just about 6 hours later it felt like someone hit me with a bat on the ass lol. So I'm curious if this is normal? It's all good if it is, not blue or infected or anything, just curious if this is what I should expect or did I maybe do something wrong.
