Question on DHT and hair loss

On a side note obviously lowering dht levels will increase the likelihood of having ED. But something like procpecia lowers dht levels by 60-70%

Do you have to be consistent on fina? Which would you recommend dutast or fina?

I would stay away from dutasteride. That's close to 100% dht levels gone because it causes both enzymes to be blocked, hence the name dut. Propecia blocks only the one enzyme and I think that's enough

I've done both. Suffered from ED issues big time.

I'm trying propecia now with aromasin to keep E in check. So far so good about a month in. I had a hair transplant years ago and don't want waste 10 grande I spent on it

Ah, i just want to keep my dht at regular. Not below neither higher. Just at my normal lvls. Blood tests will be needed i guess. How long does it take to see a difference? And how can i tell when i get side effects? Cause i hope it's not too late to reverse sides when they appear

What's your hairloss at right now? Have you receeded? Lost hair in the crown?

If you're taking it as a preventative that's not important it's if the male pattern baldness gene is in you. That's why some pros have great hair- they don't have the gene.

Take a look at your relatives. If your mothers father is bald then you most likely have MPB to worry about

My mother's father didn't have much hair in his 70s lol, and my father's father has quite some hair for his age (90years old). My dad is getting bald and he is 61.

And i know my hair is thinning. Everyone use to say i had a head of sheep. Now my haor grows much slower, and i see it shedding. Like couple hairs. Feels much thinner to the touch and im just starting to recede on the hairlines

Fina helps with acne right? Let's say i wanted to use it for acne control till i get skin laser, what dose should i hop on? Cause i need to drop accutane so my skin can get back to normal so i can do skin laser

Ik that dht causes oilness which results in acne. Maybe fina can help me control my dht which is also good for my hair. In the same time i could see if any sides flare up while using it

Never mind i took out any 5 alpha reductase inhibitors out of the pictures. They just lead to unwanted side affects that no one wants. And it just reduces dht by too much. Main purpose why test is such a good compound is due to it's androgenic dht conversion effects leading to more hardness. So why take test if planning to take fina

Have you tried them? Where can I get a good understanding on these products and how they work and affect the body. There is very little information out there on dht blockers
