Question: Why do AAS still do so much damage to the liver?

So Dianabol has been around since the late 1950's and Anadrol isn't much younger and my understanding is that these are two very powerful anabolics, but they aren't viable long term because of liver damage. My question is: Why hasn't someone in the medical field devised a way to protect the liver while also letting the body absorb the oral gear at the same time?

50 years has passed and no progress has been made in protecting the liver?

Liver protection comes from Nac, Tudca, Liv52. Anadrol and Dbol are mild compared to Winstrol.

Oils are much better, although tren is pretty harsh. But you'd have to pin oils, that prolly your issue I'm guessing.
Seemingly gains from orals are quicker yet more temporary thanks gains from oil based aas anyway. I wouldn't fret none, just plan your cycles around oils and use the harsh orals sparingly

like SJC said, there are ways to protect the liver while we run some of the more hepatoxic compounds.

If one was to alter the chemical structure of a compound, lets just say Dbol for example, to make it less toxic or easier on the liver it would no longer be the original compound.

Oral ingestion of substances will first hit the liver, the way to beat this mechanism is to add a methyl group in the 17th position, forcing the liver to remove this first - allowing the rest of the drug to be better absorbed. This process is known as methylation.

This process is common in many oral drugs, not just AAS - and as it requires the liver to perform more heavy lifting, is harder on it. There are drugs that are applied topically to the skin, or injected that also use this as a method of improving absorption - science justify hasn't really found a better way to do this yet.

No one cares about juice monkeys bro. There is no money in developing safe oral aas. if you do run drol or cbol keep it to 3-4 weeks.

Thanks, but my understanding was that those liver support supps barely do anything? Like less than 5% in helping the liver?

I've pulled clean liver values with NAC and liv52. UDCA has brought me back down from the 200's (AST/ALT) before. There's a difference between the garbage with fancy labels at gnc and the real deal.

I want studies that these products actually protect the liver. To suggest that running orals using NSA will keep liver values with in a safe range is reckless.

Do I sense a bunch of pinphobic s haunting around scared of pinning ?

Oral s are for the short term period unless u can afford anavar..real anavar.

Have you searched for them so that you can post them up for us? Or do you not lift heavy?

I know nobody in the medical field cares about AAS, but I just thought that in 50 years something would have been invented to help the liver heal...?

I mean, if you could get rid of the liver toxicity from dianabol/anadrol they'd be much safer and healthier.

this^^^^ check out mr supps tudca best thing since sliced bread for your liver

I have a study posted somewhere on this site that shows TUDCA is actually slightly better than UDCA (which requires a prescription) in liver protection and repair.

They actually do have something, it is Glutatione injected IV style directly into the bloodstream. It is one of the better kept secrets in the hospital world.

Is that what's done to people whose livers are failing? For example, someone that took dianabol/anadrol for too long?

Also, I'm unable to send private messages to people. Is this because I'm a new member?
