Questions about testosterone suppression.

When testosterone production shuts down do the testicals simply go into a dormant state or is harm being done.

I've read that when your suppressed and your testes are asleep I've heard it's actually good giving them a break. But by being surpressed puts strain on a lot of other things.

Anytime you prevent something in your body from doing what it's supposed to do...it is NOT GOOD...period. Your

testicles are NOT an employee that would be happier and work better if you "give them a break" every now and

then!!!!!!
Time and time again you hear of test

levels never recovering even close to what they originally were producing. This is a major risk of aas and if all precautions are just taken with

a grain of salt, hpta could be f'ed for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Nothing about that sounds in any way, shape, or form, as being good for

anybody or any part of your body! It's a big deal to me, I would think if anybody chooses to use exogenous anything they want endo to

continue to work again eventually. That's why every medicine known to man is warned to not use for extended period of time due to suppression of ANYTHING

in your body.

With all of that said.....if you are careful and take all precautions, you can still use exogenous meds (aas or any meds) and not effect endo production if used with some common sense. Back to full production? Maybe....JUST BE SMART....there ARE risks to all rewards!

Just use Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) throughout your entire cycle with proper post cycle therapy (pct) and not really long cycle lengths and u should be good. I agree with the above, probably not a good thing for them to "go to sleep", I wouldn't really say there. Is a lot of harm being done besides the fact that ur test might not recover ALL THE WAY.

My testicals will shut down completely after a single low dose deca injection. Deca doesn't substitute for testosterone. In this situation a chemical is causing testosterone suppression and isn't substituting for testosterone which means the odys not getting any stimulation at testosterone receptor sites and the testicles are not producing testosterone.

So..
1. Testosterone levels are possibly nonexistent
2. The testicles testosterone producing system is shut down.

Some options..
1. Testosterone replacement therapy

Idea.
1. Use testosterone production stimulants throughout the cource of deca use to prevent the testicals from shutting down completely.

What happens if testosterone is suppressed for a long peroiod Of time without supplementation of testosterone. I'm mainly concerned about the testicles. I'm not very concerned about the body because it only contains receptors that the testosterone interacts with.

Might as well wrap up this thread.

When the brain stops producing LH the testicals dont produce testosterone. When the cells that produce testosterone go dormant they start to die. The only way to prevent atrophy is to prevent the testicals from shutting down.

Well said, I could not agree more. I have done the experiment and my HPTA is effed for life. On TRT forever now. Tried to get my testicular function back over 1.5 years of cold turkey, tried everything (clomid, HCG, etc) and I never regained even reasonable levels of free test again. Even waiting 1.5 years without a drop of exogenous test (I am 45 years old now, went cold turkey at 42). My endocrine system for natural test production is screwed forever.

taking test will still make you shut down even without deca. but then you have test in blood so that good thing. take test with deca. never deca alone.

they dont die like you say

dont use aas then. all will make shut down
even with HCG they shut down in some parts.

How about no...

Ive got it all figured out now.

Low dose hcg is used throughout cycle to stimulate testicals and prevent atrophy. Hcg use is stopped when all aas is stopped. The brain realizes theres no test and starts producing lh again. To ensure. Maximum recovery anti-estrogen medications must be taken to combat the effects of estrogen on tesyosterone levels. Esrrogen reduces the amount of lh produced. After 30 days of anti-estrogens lh production should be maximized and anti-estrogens tapered off.

They have no soul.
