questions about wierd feelings when injecting quads.

Some times when I inject quads the needle going in does not hurt at all and is the easiest thing in the world. Other times I feel it going through all sorts of weird shit and popping through vessels and god only knows what else... I went to do a injection today and just pushed the needle in really slow and I swear it just felt way more painful than usual and like it was going through all sorts of shit in my leg.... So I pulled the needle out changed the tip and injected glutes. I was wondering did I do the right thing.... Should have I said fuck it and injected anyways. Do you guys ever get this when injecting the quads. because I feel like every other shot I do in the quad is fucking brutal and feels weird as fuck. And than some just go in completely clean and makes me love quad shots.. Is there such thing as just a bad shot you should abort. Lol I ask a lot of questions I know this. But honestly I am just trying to learn everything I can and figure out what im doing right and what im doing wrong. I try to spread the knowledge.
 
Virgin muscle vs scar tissue. Your hitting a spot you have injected before. I know exactly what your talking about- feel like the difference between driving on asphalt and a gravel road. As long as you aspirate and there is no blood, i wouldnt abort though.

I always think its funny when I give big guys I.M shots and hit that shit because I know they are injecting themselves with something. Had a guy ask me to give him a tetanus shot in his quad so I didnt mess up his site rotation....
 
Quads are always one of my favourite sites. There's a tonne of scar tissue but what fun it is cranking through it! :)
 
Quads are my favorite, because I can see them and use both hands. Not sure where you're pinning, but there are good areas and bad areas, just aiming at a muscle isn't enough. I usually go high and on the outside, but it's worth googling a chart that shows the good areas.

Like quads also since its visually easy, and like Rumpy, like to use both hands. I've hit nerves and pulled that bitch fast as hell when my leg twitched! I just put on another needle and pin close to original site....
 
My injection went great, really smooth. The pip is a beeotch though. Wish I had done squats, then pinned my quads. Damn it!
 
So Im hitting mother fucking scar tissue that is what is ruining my damn injections and making me trip out .GRRRRRRRRRRR! Ya the quad injections are not as much fun with scar tissue that is for damn sure!
