OK, been training with weights for about 4-years (started at 30) am currently working with husband in a GVT program, deads 10X10 or 5X5 (depending on the day), bench, shoulder press, squats, Romanians-again all 10x10 or 5x5 volumes-and really dig this style of lifting, espeically given the busy holiday schedules.

Anyway, my stats:

5'4 approx 131 and approx 17% bf

Now I ran hdrol a year and a half ago thinking (after a lot of research) since it was the only "legal" option out there and the most 'mild' PH/AAS compound with minimal androgenic sides. I understand that hdrol converted to turinabol at a 5% rate, so I ran 25mgs (one cap) thinking I'd get 1.25 mgs of converted Turinabol. Again going by "internet" research, I was hesitant to run any higher of a dose.

I put on 11lbs while running it, and my lifts DEFINITELY went up. Problems were, when I came off I had the most painful and deep acne EVER. My period didn't show up for a few weeks, and well I lost nearly all gains it seemed (extra cellular water I guess?).

Therefore I am reluctant to try Anavar (var) since I don't want to experience any of that again.

My favorite side was the way sex felt, OMG it was amazing!!

We have 3-bottles of Anavar (var) from Biotech labs here at the house (husband and I).

I just stopped taking bc 2-weeks ago and WOW my skin looks tighter already, and way less puffy. I almost look like I've been "dieting" as things look a bit harder.

My diet is fairly on point with infrequent cheats, as the holiday season is the toughest.

Breakfast (preworkout wake up meal); 2/3 cup of oats, 1/4 cup boiled cranberries, a sprinkle of crushed almonds (less than a gram), 1 scoop scivation protein powder all mixed together.

I use Anavar (var) ious pre-workout stims before lifting, and drink Extend while lifting.

Post workout = Waxy maize (1-scoop) and 1.5 scoops scivation protein powder

I will eat another 4-meals throughout the day, and my caloric intake is about 1800-2K and macros of approx C-40% P-40% F-20%

We are thinking about starting to try having children in about 8-10 months.

I was wondering:

1. Can I (if I decide to) run 5mg Anavar (var) for 6-8 weeks, and then be safe to try and conceive by next fall/late summer?

2. Will Anavar (var) REALLY put on lean muscle? Or is
the test just a means to lift heavier and more intense which MAY increase lean muscle tissue?

3. Will I breakout really bad again? I have a clear complexion with one blotch (as a result of the Hdrol) and want to avoid what happened with the Hdrol.

Any input would be great.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I missed your thread.

The effects from runing var vary, the results will depend on diet/training, dose & duration of cycle.

Anavar is not a fat loss drug, if your diet/training are where they should be, u will gain muscle mass. Usually the weight gain by anavar is slow and gradual. Most see weight gain after 3-4 weeks.
I know a few girls that did notice a bit of bloating at first.

Var is known to have minimal virilizing effects at low dose, but ofcourse everyone reacts differently, so nothing is set in stone.
The most common side I've read wiomen experience while on var is acne, but remember it really varies from person to person.

Var can give you other sides too like, Deep voice, decrease libido, clitoral enlargement ,excessive hair growth.

These sides are signs of musculanization, so u should monitor yourself.

Trying to conceive after a var cycle shouln't be issue.
Var could also raise your cholesterol, so make sure you monitor that as well.


IMO, I think you can achieve your fitness goals without the use of Anavar (var), tweaking your diet & training can get you great results.

I have acheived quite a bit in 4+ years of lifting. When I started I was 136lbs and 24% bf, but am kind of stuck where I am; 5'4 127 and approx 16-17%.

We are doing GVT right now and my lifts are doing pretty good, but I REALLY want to add mass to my A$$.

I mean, I do barbell squats nearly ATG (165 6x), barbell walking lunge (worked up to 45s on each side for 12 total steps!), I can deadlift 165 5x, and inverted smith leg press with 4 plates on each side 12x...on top of cable kickback isolation movements, stair climber, glute hypers, etc etc.

YET

My butt hasn't grown that much and is still a bit soft. It is starting to drive me nuts.

I've done the calorie requirements for muscle growth and eat like a "figure-builder" should to GROW. The GVT style program has me resting more and I seem to be gettting a boost in the density department.

If I ran var for 6-8 weeks at 5-10mgs and put together a high volume glute program, can I expect to add mass to my glutes? Kind of what I am looking to find out.

By the way, why are there no before and after pics on here with all the girls running this stuff. Are the sides THAT bad?
 
No, the sides aren't "that bad". There's a reason why var is so popular with women, and that is because it's one of the few legitimate hormones they can run and see results without heavy sides.

Your experiment with hdrol was ill advised. It's definitely a "no go" for women, and although it only converts to turinabol at a 5% rate, the prohormone itself is anabolic/androgenic prior to conversion.

I would run the Var at 5mg, considering your size, but if you run it that way for a week or two and don't feel any sides, you are welcome to bump it to 10. Yes, you will build muscle mass with anavar. It has a reputation for being a "cutting" steroid because the gains are so dry, but you absolutely can build size and strength with the right diet.

Hmm in my haste I never thought about the actual pre cursor being androgenic, probably why I broke out so bad after I came off. Luckily it cleared up without little if any scarring. I did notice a little bit extra blonde hair on my neck too. Just enough to think it was related. It's been a year and a half since and my blood work both hormonal and internal organs show normal levels.

I wanted off bc last month and am loving how lean I look since stopping it. I just don't like nothing knowing when I can expect my unfriendly visitor. At least with the pill I could time that perfectly.

So back to my question, are there any logs that anyone knows of that show before and after pics for a woman running Anavar (var)?

Plenty of guys do this, but it is driving me nuts as I would like to get a better understanding of what sort of recomposition or change looks like with this compound.

OR

Are there any current figure-builders (my term for the figure/fitness girls) out there that have before and after pics. Or a good example.

Jamie Eason? Think she ran Anavar (var), or someone like Monica Brant? Or like a Laurie Noack back in the day, really lean but hard as sht.

You could look at any NPC/IBFF Pro competitor and I can pretty much guarantee she did Anavar (var), if that's any help.
