I'm thinking about get breast augmentation 3 weeks after a show...is that a bad idea? If so how long u think I should wait? If it's not a problem, will that affect my gains from dieting.....meaning I know that cause of trauma swelling will occur but when it goes back down will I get back to being lean again given I watch what I eat and light activity after surgery. I have photoshoot a few weeks after the surgery.*
Any info will help. Thanks.*

Hey

I'm a guy, but my gilfriend wanted to comment on this. She doesn't compete, but she's toned. She works out a lot and watches everything she eats. After breast augmentation she was swollen for a good month. She's had 2 surgeries and both times she was swollen for a while. Not only are your boobs gonna be swollen, but everything around it. Honestly, to be comepletely back to normal, it will take about 2 months. If you have anything important coming up withing that time, put it off Till you don't. That's what she had to do because we had a vacation planned and didn't look good in a bikini till then (I just confessed to this to her). Don't expect immeadiate results. The recovery time the doctor tells you is just so that you can get back to your "normal routine". Yours is not because you lift heavy, so you probably won't be able to lift for about a month + the swelling. Hope this helps.

I wouldnt do it when your body is already stressed from dieting and getting ready for a photo shoot. You need time to heal and get rid of all the toxins in your body post op.

Hey,

I have had the surgery and I can honestly tell you that there is no way you'll be able to do a photo shoot a month later. The swelling lasts for awhile and it really takes about 2-3 months before you look normal again. Also your workouts will most definitely be impacted. The time out of the gym depends on where the implant is placed - if you go under the muscle then they recommend 8 weeks before any major lifting - they will cut through the muscle tissue to disconnect it and it has to heal properly to avoid future issues. Also - if you go under the muscle then your strength is impacted because those muscle fibers are disconnected forever. Full unders - about 25% impact - I opted for partial unders - 10% strength impact - no way was I losing 25% of my chest strength. Under looks better so talk to your surgeon and make sure he knows that working out is very important to you.

It might seem like a long time out of the gym but the surgery is totally worth it - I am now back fully into my regimn ( 4months after surgery) and cycling anavar and gh - I don't even notice the 10% and feel great.

Hope this helps.

I know I am a man but my wife recently had the augmentation a month after her first cycle. After alot of research on augmentations I can tell you there are alot of different variables that can affect your recovery and results. The type of implant will be one silicone requires a larger cut to place the implant in threfore resulting in more muscle being cut so u may want saline. Second the type of incision can dramtically affect your look and recovery. If u get the incision under the breast your recovery will be fatser. Under the armpit takes longer but your not going to get the scar tissue that's visible under the breast. There is a new incision where they go through the belly button but its hard to find a surgeon that's comfortable with this procedure. Third is where the implant will be placed. There are three options unders partial and over. Over will sag over time more than the others and there is the possibilty of cc (capsular contration) this is a common problem with implants and is not pleasant looking. Basically your pectoral muscle contracts up and stays there and requires more surgery to fix. Partials have the same problem the risk for cc is higher. Under carries the least risk but longest recovery. Something else you may want to note is if u go with the unders your breast will deform while lifting. After my wire got hers she just stopped working chest there's really no need when your chest is already perfect from the augmentation. I hope this helps you may want to talk to your doctor all surgeons skills vary and maybe he has a different opinion based on his talents gl.

I am getting the newer silicone gel implants, that is the 3rd kind. They are more durable than silcone or saline and feel a lot nicer.

Everything really should be discussed with your doctor.

You have got to be kidding me, girl you are sooo fine the way you are OMG, I really can't believe I'm reading this. Don't listen to me because everyone on here has an image in their mind of what they want to look like. Do whatever makes you feel good, but all I am just saying is if you are trying to be the hottest girl in the world I think you are a lot closer than you think you are, sincerely.

whatever you say, like I said don't listen to me I think I have a different taste in a woman's physic then most men. I don't like big fat asses and big huge breast. I like more average sized, Athletic build, just enough for a hand full, but don't get me wrong I do want to be able to tell from a distance what gender you are..lol

I have the silicone gel implants and I really had no problems. It depends a lot of your size and placement and incision too.
My are on top of the muscle and incision line is aerola. There really wasn't pain involved. Just felt like my breasts were engorged (with milk) for about a week. My friend and I were up shopping for new bras the very next morning. Lol
Also , as for a photo shoot..they will be pretty hard and uplifted for awhile. So I would probably post pone the shoot a little while longer
