quick advice please

this one goes out to the mods-pb,bb,mudge,inhuman,needsize,etc could i do the 5x5 routine on mon=legs tues=chest thurs=back, is it possible to train that close together... or should i keep it at mon/wed/fri?
 
it would be ok, but i would swap it
so mon-back, tues-chest and thur legs
I need to wait at least 3 days after legs before traing back again

:D think about what you just posted. it is 3 days rest from mon to thursday. 72 hours is 3 days last time i checked.

my noraml squat day is monday and my normal back day is thursday. benching is noramally tuesday and either friday or saturday for shirt work if im doing shirt work.

gotta rash i thought you was gonna compete in PLing? if so the 5x5 aint gonna get it done.

Mon to thurs is 2 days rest to me ( tues off, wed off = 2 days)
thurs to monday is three days off ( fri , sat, sun = 3 days)

If its working right now on the three day MWF then I would stick with it, pushing weight in that routine you have to have the EOD rest...
 
agree with PB
as long as your delts are fine from heavy squatting and any other assistance you do that day..yuoll be fine to bench on tuesday
 
i am gonna compete at 165lbs... but i f'ed up my wrist a ways back and just got in again... im sitting at 180.. dead is 315 for 5 squat 315 for 5 (pathetic i know) and bench is horrible b/c that what i f'ed up my wrist on bench is 275 for 5 im gonna switch to a more p'lifting oriented workout in a couple of months...
something like this
mon- legs
2x5 squats
1x4 box squats
2x8 leg presses
bottom up or rest pause squats (every other week) (alternating between both)
wed chest
2x5 bench
1x4 incline bench
lockouts (every third week)
bottom up bench (everythird week alternating from lockouts)
1x15 side laterals
fri- back
2x5 deads
1x4 bb bent over rows
bb shrugs or lat pulls 1x15
partial deads or stiff leg (alternating)

i cant jump into that right away because its to much work considering i just got back plus im gonna get a bench shirt (hopefully) in the summer
