i dig my elbows into my side to provide resistance on the descent . theres a lot of lat and bi in the negative portion of the bench .blackbeard said:since we are talking about benching i almost never hear anything about the descent of the bar..slow and controlled yes but my question is what muscles should be used in bringing the bar down i assume you wanna keep the tricep strength for pushing and the lockout..its not a negative rep correct?
