Recent pics........................

Also too my job i got laid off, so now obviously being a mover its not so physical demanding sittinf here taking time off and collecting poggy lol, as well i goto the gym do my routine, and in and out and eat and alot more rest to grow
Still hammering.my bi's/tri's ed following a routine seems.to be working i dunno havent measured lol, a few sets on each and switching stuff up
and yes traps need work i see that too :)

Sorry to hear about the setbacks man. Sometimes it takes away from our focus on our training and the routine groove.

You look big and solid, seriously and I feel that you will look much bigger even where you are if your traps are improved.

I get very critical but constructive at the same time. Remember I've competed and owned a gym and have trained some competitors. My Professional Career was a corporate director of field quality control so , hey what else but pay attention to detail. Anyway where you are advanced, that's how we get better, and it is to work on anything that might not be up to par with our other parts.

I have no traps, lol maybe that's why I'm critical LOL.

Roush I'm gonna look into Lee's routine, but remember I have those Fvckin protruding discs and vertical compression is a bad thing. I need some traps ! Wishing you the best Matt.

yeah I hear you .. I have 3 bulging discs, two completely blown discs, two lower back surgeries, 2 thoracic spine injuries and 2 cervical spine injuries (last one was a broken neck in a motorcycle accident) . so my spine from top to bottom is a mess. thats why my legs lag behind cause I can't do heavy squats with the F'd up back.

but,, thats why I use smith machine for heavy shrugs . any movement you can do that helps stabilize your body and keep you in place (limiting the possibility of 'torque' or twisting) definitely helps the lower back. But, the heavy weight with vertical compression when you go too heavy can be painful.

my last back surgery the doc told me to give up on the weight lifting and just do cardio . lol, yeah right

Yea right lol. If you give it up you probably would soon not be able to walk. Fvck that. I don't have half that. One spinal fusion C8 -T1. The L2,3,4 and 5 are protruding with 5 being really herniated. So the say no lifting AT ALL. The arthritis doctor tells me, "You can't do that " Fvck you just shoot that joint and that one and that one.

Oops don't want to hijack Matts thread. :)

Thanks mike, yes gonna hit traps more often try to build these suckers up while i.am on a lean bulk too
going to look into that video roush thanks.my man
loving the dbol, 3rd week of deca so it hasn't even kicked.in yet cant wait

I prefer to do them on the smith machine . which allows you to work with some heavy ass weight and still be able to stabilize yourself and isolate the traps (something you can't really do with 150lb dumbbells)

Do you prefer smith over db because of the fact that you can do much higher weight or did you notice more growth in traps when doing smith vs db?

Serious question. I always go back and forth between the two. Would love to know which one is better for traps

I notice more isolation of the traps with the smith machine, and therefore more growth as well. with the smith machine I can more easily work with heavy weight and have the weight in front of me for several sets, and then I can stand with the bar behind me and do shrugs with the weight behind me as well. with dumbbells they pretty much have to stay to the side.
However, I will super-set dumbbells with smith machine shrugs. Or even just do high rep shrugs with 45lb plates in between my smith machine shrugs.
eg. 315 x 15 on the smith machine, then I'll reach down and grab 100 pound dumbbells and knock out reps to failure

another exercise that you rarely see for traps ,, use the seated row machine you'd normally use for back ,, but lay down all the way back so your parallel . its a bit of a rowing motion, but with the traps being the dominant muscle worked.

Hey bro I read your first post and almost went to the next thread. In all honesty, I thought if this dude is on gear hes wasting it.

I decided to go to the last page and see if you made progress.

Great work. You definitely brought those weird looking arms to life. (No offense bro)

What turned me off in the beginning was your excuses (my arms dont grow well)

If you have that bull shit going through your head than guess what? They aint gonna grow!

You can do anything you put your mind to.

If your arms arent growing than you need to focus on them and make them motherfuckers grow.

I used to bitch about long arms and bad genetics til some beast in my gym called me out.

I went from thinking 17" was all I would ever have...

To working out with someone who pushed me past my limits and made me grow.

Excuses are for pussies.

Keep up the hard work and reach your genetic potential naturally. Then hit the juice. Youll be amazed at the results!

Good job anyway.

Also more gear is not always the answer.

I used to think that. The sauce will bring your work ethic down because the results come easier.

Dont let the sauce hold you back.

Glad you decided to grow rather than make excuses!

This morning

Man im torn! Arms lost all their size compared to the pics on 4/12. Why dont you post pics before a workout with no pump and not trying to look swoll!

your delts over power your bi's and tri's.

You need some close grip bench press heavy as fuck, and some skull crushers done with good form, heavy as fuck!

The tricep is missing a lot of mass and thats what makes the arm! Esp with them cannonball delts. But the delts seems to be lacking in the front. Could be a BF issue. They dont flow with the chest.

When you have a pump it looked pretty good, but after you looked skinny to me.

Not hating just being real!

Matt you will have to be REAL Patient with the Deca. People generally don't run it long enough and give up on it too soon. I am upping my dose of Deca and lowering my Test now as I was first planned. I needed the earlier Test stimulation before the Deca and I also had to start the Deca a week late.

Hang in there Matt you know it's not a race. :)

^^ exactly .. you gotta be real real patient with Deca. a lot of guys say deca sucks, yet they only ran it for 6 weeks . heck it takes 8 weeks to really start kicking in , and by week 10 your golden.

but, the inpatient fellow that I am, I found a way around this 'wait time' ,, having experience with deca, I now kick off deca ran bulks with NPP as a front load. gets the nandrolone juices flowing much quicker

Shit, now that I think about it I should of done that. However I was so concerned about the lubrication aspects of Deca I wanted to get going because I don't think that NPP has quite the benefits. I might be wrong, because it would of helped anyway. :Pat:

You dick Roush, you should of reminded me of this when I proposed my cycle....Ha , lol

Yeah plus 3 omn this one, Deca and EQ take a damn while to kick in in reallity. NPP is better if you are the impatient type but meh Deca is cheaper mg per mg but I stay away from Nandrolone now.
