I have been having trouble with the 18 g pin I filter through tearing up the vial. The last batch I made there was actually a gaping hole in the stopper (I could actually see light through the hole).
In my box of supplies, I found a different vial with a red stopper. I transfered the gear to the red stopper vial through an 18 g pin and I noticed that the stopper was still completely in tact. I am guessing that the red stopper vials might be more resilient than the gray stoppers (but I could be wrong). Has anyone else noticed this?
I don't know where I got the red stopper vials. All I know is not from gitpens (that's where I get the gray stopper vials). Does anyone know where to get the red stopper vials?
