Hello all,
New to the forums, I apologise if this is not in the correct location. I am on a cycle of trenbolone enanthate and testosterone enanthate. I inject tren twice a week at 200mg/cc. I inject test once a week at 250mg/cc. Im on my third week. My last tren injection was last thursday in my right medial delt. A few days after the injection I noticed a red splotch below where i injected. Today the splotch got larger and has spread to about half of my bicep. It isnt puffy nor super swollen. Its a light pink color now and warm to the touch. Havent had this issue before. I have benadryl im taking tonight. Ideas?

Im sorry to say that it sounds like an infection and you should go to doc for antibiotics and checkout. just say it was a b12 shot you screwed up, avoid mention of aas.

This ^^^ but however you didn't mention if it was painful or not. Usually it will hurt but to be safe you should do a porkchop said.

Good luck and welcome to the board :wavey:

infected. not sterilizing everything right, depth of injection. needle size? for a new user. the short esters will aggravate the injection depot.

Young in my AAS career i had a Celulitis infection that sounds similar to what you have. Get it checked out and get on antibiotics.

I had similar with a quad injection about 8 years ago. I went to the ER told em it was a b12 shot (like mentioned above) and they gave me an antibiotic.
I didn't use enough alcohol to disinfect the area.

Enough alcohol ??? If you used ANY then that is enough. More means nothing. If infected then something had a bacteria and was NOT touched by alcohol. One swipe on an infected spot will suffice I don't understand. I realize it is necessary ( should be) to use alcohol protocol but there must be some other agent or problem involved if a little didn't work. What infected the ..."What"
needle , bottle, skin ??

I will admit , honestly ... AND I DO NOT RECOMEND... but I never use any alcohol. I never sterilize my site or the top of the bottle. I just warm it up , draw and pin. I have been lucky , since 1979 while mainlining drugs, IV and IM steroids , I HAVE NEVER had an infection problem. NEVER

Infections are NOT that prevalent or so easily to acquired. The needles are sterile, the bottle top of the bottle should not be handled, you body should be clean and your hands should be washed or just clean. Remember if you think that just the AIR we breath has some bacteria, we inject the outside non-sterile air into the vial to so not to have a total vacuum as we d raw. NOW the inside of the vial has been compromised... ? to an extent.

I recommend people to follow sterile protocol .

Just my 2 cents

Just to throw it in here my wifee is a type 1 diabetic so she requires insulin injections multiple times daily. On her last visit to the specialist they told her that the protocol has changed and they no longer advise people to use alcohol wipes as it dries out the skin and makes injection more painful and thats straight from the doc's mouth

i rather take more pain than more chance of infection. anyways i always let a droplet drop down the pin before I inject, no issues.

I have heard smart and stupid protocols, so from docs or nurses mouth doesnt mean much to me nowadays (not that I write it completely off, but i dont take it as fact or best idea just based who its coming from. I still think its a good idea to swab everything personally.

I always chuckle silently when my wife injects me she swabs and then blows really hard to dry it up. I'm sure the shit she's exhaling is worse than what was killed by the swab.

IDK the solvents in the oil should be somewhat antibacterial I would think. I just pin in my bathroom. Nothing can live in there. Not even my dog wants to hang out in that place.

Ha I like all the responses... As I said I don't even swab... AND I don't know, can't figure out how these guys get infected. If it was that easy during me IV heroin and coke days I would have has to have my arms cut off....

BUT I will not tell anyone not to swab.... I take showers
