Hi, On a monday i have quite a heavy chest and shoulders routine, this leaves me aching until thursday morning, I am conisdering changing my work out schedule from this

Mon - Chest/Shoulders
wed - Back/ Biceps
fri - triceps/legs

to

Mon Chest/Shoulders
Wed Legs
Thursday Back/ Biceps
Fri Triceps

Do u think this is a better routine? as i will get 2 days of rest between the chest/shoulder day and the back and bicep, any help much appreciated. thanks in advance.

How can you separate chest and triceps? You should always have a base of compound lifts before you add isolation.

I do triceps on chest day, but I do NOT do biceps on back day and haven't for maybe around a year. I feel it way too much in my tendons.

I do calves on chest day (4-5 sets), and finish the week with quads/hams and lower back.

Pardon me!??

Do I really have to ask again? How can you separate chest from triceps unless you're doing flies one day and then extensions the next day? If you do that, then you're not using compound lifts.

You know what.....you seem to come off as a self proffessed expert...on many subjects.....your answers to questions are overcomplicated to say the least.. and misunderstanding as well..too in depth....and boring.
Your posts reek of slight arrogance as well...lighten the up........get a grip.....
I have caught flaws in many statements you have made ...and will leave it at that........
This is not a flame just an observation........
You want to hear the rest ...

Beware of what you post....I will correct your mistakes

Uhhh...okaaaay.

So anyway, you should base your workouts in compound lifts, not isolation.

Look, I know words like "isolation" and "compound" are far too "overcomplicated" for you, but I'll be trying to help out while you sit here posting useless shit.

What are you talking about? Most of your posts are non sequiturs.

When did I ever say anything about doing one or the other? I said you should have a BASE of compound lifts. Verstehen sie?

Listen all I have to say is .....bodybuilding ....excersise and nutrition is not rocket science......but you sure make it out to be in your posts...

How is having a base in compound lifts "rocket science"? Do you disagree that you should not base your workouts in compound lifts?
