Ive seen this used in a number of different exercises I found it works wonders on shoulder presses.
But whats your thoughts on rev grip bench pressing???
 
One of the best exercises for adding meat on those tri's.

I use the smith machine and lower the bar to my upper abs.

You will feel your tri's working big time on these and it is hard to cheat, which keeps alot of the focus on your arms.

your front delts get their ass kicked as well when RG benching .
