Roid Rage and Torn Pec during PCT

Looks like i might have torn my pec

took last shot aprox 5 weeks ago, 3 weeks into post cycle therapy (pct)

repping 315 on bench(not an unusual weight for me), rep #8, i feel a weird twitching and pain his my right pec
i drop weight on my chest, rack it, and it burns
its swollen now, from the inside of armpit(where the pec tendons are to my bicep)
where its swollen on my bicep, is sensitive to the touch, feels like something is pinching it internally
not sure how bad it is

last thurs night, i forgot to take my clomid and nolva before bed so friday i took them before my wife and i went out on our date

we drank at a bar while playing poker
something she said just set me off, i cant remember the last time i was that mad.
alsmot got into it with a bar patron
the intensity or anger did not seem to subside until i woke up the following morning.
never again will i take clomid early

weird this stuff is happening now

other than that post cycle therapy (pct) hasnt been bad at all in terms of emotional sides

id go see a doctor on that torn pec asap. maybe go to urgent care so they will see you right away.

clomid does make ppl moody and emotional. i know when i was on it i was watching something kinda sad on tv and i had to change it cause i felt like i was gonna start bawlin like a lil girl.

oh btw if its really torn then you should get deep tissue massages on it when its not as painful cause it will help with scare tissue. the scare tissue will make it tear more easily than before.

Damn bro that looks nasty especially just from lifting. Yeah I'd have that looked at an make sure you don't have tendon damage.

I tore my pec bout 15yrs ago n never went 2 the doc 2 get it fixed. It was black n blue n yellow from my pec 2 my bicep. Didn't regain full strength on my bench 4 a year. It still doesn't look rite wen I flex. Def. Get it checked out bro

i would skip the er unless you cant handle it....so many people that dont need to go there go there...im always in the er and everyone bitches about the people that could of waited to see their doc lol

You need to get that checked out. That is not normal for someone who was just benching. My buddy just had a full pec tear/separation. His pec literally rolled up. Anyway you need to get it looked at.

Clomid is known to effect peoples emotions. Also during OCR you typically have high estro and lower test then add alcohol which will also increase estro and you will be acting irrational in no time.

Get checked out and I wouldn't drink until post cycle therapy (pct) is done.

Best of luck.

good god! that's after 48hrs? I hope it's not a tendon too bro. any loss of range of motion or pain while adducting you arms towards center mass?

24 hrs, not much pain at all until I put my elbow to the side with hand facing up(like a pec deck)

I hope it's just the muscle then... my experience with torn tendons is a serious lack of mobility in the affected area accompanied by extreme pain. best of luck and let us know how the MRI turns out.

heres the radiologist report from mri
FINAL REPORT

PATIENT ID: 03064486

INDICATION: Right pectoralis muscle tear.

Technique: Multiplanar multisequence MRI examination of the right
chest wall was performed with attention to the right pectoralis
muscles, without intravenous contrast.

COMPARISON: None.

FINDINGS:

The lateral aspect of the right pectoralis major muscle demonstrate
marked edema and fluid signal consistent with high-grade strain and
high-grade partial tear of the muscle fibers. There is evidence of
mild medial retraction of the muscle fibers with intramuscular
hematoma without an organized fluid collection. The humeral
attachment of the right pectoralis major muscle appears intact.

There is marked subcutaneous edema in the right anterior chest wall
extending to the right anterior arm. The remaining muscles appear
intact. There is no abnormal marrow signal. There is no fracture or
subluxation.

IMPRESSION:

1. High-grade strain and partial tear of the right pectoralis major
muscle as above.

ortho doc wants to look at the mri himself as he thinks i did rupture the tendon
hope not as i dont want to go under the knife

i was also instructed to stop my nolva, clomid, and aromasin as they can increase the odds of blood clots
