So, I'm in the process of jazzing up my morning porridge oats - and I know the importance of getting a mixture of seeds into my diet...
I recently bought a 5kg bag of 'Omega Seed Mix' which contains Sunflower seeds, Pumpkin seeds, Linseeds and Sesame Seeds...
My question is: Do I consume the seeds whole, therefore benefitting from the oils on the shell and the source of fibre?
Or do I grind the seeds to a powder, so that I then benefit from the goodness inside?
I notice when consuming them whole, that the body doesn't break them down (ie: they go out, looking the same as they go in!)
Any advice?
