maybe Dawg will chime in too...

what are the rules at least according to the APF/WPC/WPO regarding your shirt and how low on the arms it can be..i know it must be above ur elbow but im talking more specifically about whether or not your armpit crease is allowed to show-or can it be covered by the singlet?

it doesnt say anything about it being off the shulders. in fact it dont even call it a bench shirt, but refers to it as T shirt type shirt that must be worn accordingly. but if you lift at a big meet and the shirt is off the shoulders you will get redlighted after the attempt. ipa is about the only org left that allows lifters to wear shirts off the shoulders.

i prefer mine on the shouders anyway but jes pulled down in the front after it is set on my shoulders. lock it in place with your belt and you good to go.

hope this helped.

joel's is legal.

years ago we wore ours completely off the shoulders. it loads the pudding out of a shirt, but now smaller chest plates and scooped necks are the norm so loading that much isnt needed. in fact if a shirt is properly fitted wearing it off the shoulders makes it nearly impossible to touch.

now i will have severe lockout problems LOL
i couldnt beleive how much more supposrt i got out of my shirt by pulling it down like Joel..

Also the tip i got from a friend at the meet warned me about the pitfalls either dumping or losing it back over the face lol..
515 literally flew up in the gym and was far from touching..i was begining to think my shirt was losing its pop LOL..also i cant beleive how versatile these things are where i can go from toucing 435 to NOT touching 515

i got lots o work to do :)

how far you from there, time wise?
lil over an hour
thats not really the problem they have a big crew and on these days if your lifting for 3 hours plus the 2 hour commute its a 5-6 hour day for me

its hard for me to get away for that long with my mother being sick and all..another 2 months or so and the dr visists will be minimal

i know what you going thru. i dealt with it for a couple of years. i have finally been able oto train consistant this year. family first though.

my wife is still sick but she's in a better position now than she was. esp since we moved near her family. i have a little more freedom to train.

i missed nearly 3 years of consistant training, it makes a difference for sure. i just tried to maintain the strength i had in the hopes that one day things would change. with a little luck looks like im back.

Their are two sets of guys squatting on Saturday. Two monos going. One set is more of a westside group, the other is bernor and company. Eric Adolph who is one of the sickest dudes i ever saw looks to be a technician under the bar if i ever saw one, he usually trains in the other mono, and they get done much much quicker.
