Shoulder problem with DC training

hey I had a problem a while ago with my bicepts and I wasnt really growing and thanks to inhuman he told me to stretch right after my forearm exercise and I think that did the job. Now for shoulders im having the same problem. In the first 2 weeks it seemed like I was getting good gains but now its really slowing down and my shoulder muscles are looking smaller which obviously is no good.
I have been on this program for almost 2 months. My 3 workouts are military press, lateral flies and this triple hit workout that hits all 3 parts of your shoulders. someone please help me

No clue bro. I'm not that familiar with the DC's philosophies, but it sounds somewhat like overtraining, since you say they look smaller than before.

What you think you may see, may or may not be fact. I stopped doing overhead pressing because I incline bench, I do one set of side laterals, one set of front raises, and one set of rear laterals, nothing more and shoulders are one of my better bodyparts.

But, that is what works for me.

are you doing the stretch for it? like the stretch that dante says to do? try that if your not, also the 'triple hit' may be overtraining you... i do 3 seperate presses for my shoulder DC workout, im one of dantes lackies... lol but yeah, it sounds like there might be slight overtraining... and just do the stretch if your not :)

well I do the stretches and everything and when I say triple hit all I do is simply do front raises, swist my wrist, bring it to my sides then bring it down.

Trick, Lets do this, go with Smythe Military, Smythe Behind the Neck and pick one other Shoulder Press machine you have in the gym, get 11-15 reps RP, I have said that Laterals are not good for building in this program, but some have to do them, you need heavy pressing movements, give that a try for a month and see what happens, and make sure you are doing the shoulder Extreme Stretch when you are done with your shoulder workset...

lying face first on an incline bench and raising the dumbells outward, kinda like a reverse fly :)

heavy back work hits my posterior delts.

I'm doing OK old man ;) but I do DIRECT work for EVERYTHING, this incluedes, traps, neck and forearms. If I dont they shrink, period. I was once a 180 pound nothing at 6'2", if I dont do direct work my meat goes bye bye, so I still do rear delts and so on.

Rows
315*10
355*10
365*8
365*8

Shrugs
405*12
475*10
500*12
500*15

High pulls
225*8 (5 plates)
225*7

Dumbell Pullovers
130*10

Pulldowns (not much point in me doing these, and they place a load on my biceps that I dont like if I go heavy)
180*12

Mudge, Whats the reason for direct work, heavy ass compound movements will work all surrounding muscles especially smaller ones.

The heavy weight you push the more indirect growth affect will happen...

Because I swear indirect work gives some benefit, but never enough. Heavy deads hit my traps, but they grow much better if I hit them directly as well, and so on.

thanks inhuman and everyone else....
I cant use Dumbbell military press? Also for the stretch I think I know how to do it but its kinda hard to understand it(Only for shoulders)
Lastly many of the workouts Dante uses are smith machines, whats the reason for that? I thought that free weights are always better for you, helps your free motion and helps strengthen other little muscles that balance out everything.

For sefety reasons, its much easier to RP with the Smythe then BB, getting stuck under a BB with 400 or more ain't fun...

Who said?, there is not one better than the other, its an individual choice...
